Valuation Calculations (Chapter
8 and 9- week 4; Appendix B)
Week four is the week you will
discuss the company’s bond rating, calculate stock valuation, dividend growth
model, and dividend yield.
Bond Ratings
Research
the company’s current bond rating. Have there been any major changes to the
bond rating within the last 5 years? This
content should be researched, cited, and three to 5 sentences.
Stock
Valuation
Research the company’s total outstanding stocks and calculate the (approximate)
market capitalization based on current share price (cite this data too).
Dividend Growth
Model
Calculate
the dividend growth (constant growth) model. This section will require Appendix
B. Add a comment or two regarding your findings – are they logical or feasible?
Dividend Yield
Calculate the dividend yield and provide a brief discussion not to exceed
3 to 5 sentences. You should reference the calculations in Appendix B.
