Write reflections around your professional leadership and your skill development throughout my 3rd year as a student nurse and social worker within a learning disabilities field. These 3 reflections are then to create 1 single essay stitching them together as 1 assignment. Which will also demonstrate an understanding of all the learning outcomes highlighted on the assignment brief. I will give 3 examples to you for you to use throughout my 3rd year of learning if you feel it necessary. However if you feel i do not need to go into as much detail i can give an overview of me and what i believe my strengths and weaknesses are to help understand my development. I have 15 yrs + working in the criminal justice area as a probation officer prior to this degree. I am confident at challenging and using assertiveness, however nursing has been a new challenge and working with people with LD is also unfamiliar. I have at times struggled to work within my scope of practice as a student as i have felt i want to do more but have understood my role and remained within it. Academically i have developed but still have room for improvement. I have taken lead in a group of peers on many occasions both willingly and felt i have been encouraged by others to do so also. I am a natural leader but appreciate others opinions and expertise. Multi agency working has come natural due to my experiences previously which i feel has benefit me.
