This is for my probation officer. No fancy writing necessary. Just need a couple pages on why JK Rowlings quote is inspirational to me. Background on me. My impaired driving saved my life and others i could have hurt. Had a lot of accidents got away with. Probation saved my life. Stopped me from drinking. I have a normal life married 2 kids. Ive been an addict for about 12 years. Off and on. Lost nursing license because of it. But ive moved on and stayed in health care and love being a phlebotomist now. Never took recovery seriously until this charge. Living with parents just got a great high paying job and trying to find a house it woke me up and scared me that until probation I couldnt stop drinking on my own. Always used opiates….never had a problem with alcohol until I used it to calm nerves at work. A little turned into every day for a year. I think thats plenty to make up what u want for this quote. Ive hit rock bottom a few times with addiction but always ended up relapsing.
