To What Extent is Gender Pay Inequality an issue in the Film Industry?
I have chosen this issue to begin my preliminary research and write on mainly because it a subject that goes alongside my career of choice and has been an argument I have not been able to have much opinion towards since I do not have the proper knowledge on it. I have a great fondness for movies and have great admiration for the intelligence and hard work it takes to create one; every role is important in creating a movie & every person has a very big significance in what they do. As a woman myself interested seeking a degree in the Film Industry I want to further investigate how exactly woman are treated and paid in comparison to men in this business. I’d really like to see what are the main attributions on why this is a topic always being argued in the Industry.

What are the Impacts on mandatory vaccination?
While taking this course and having the opportunity to explore a topic of interest (a controversial topic that is), I would like to explore the impacts of mandatory vaccinations. Will this mandatory vaccination have everyone in favor or against it? Will anyone be able to work if they don’t receive the vaccine? Will anyone be able to attend school if they don’t receive the vaccination? This topic is something I believe is a controversy in the world we are living in today because everyone is different and thinks very much differently as well. We’ve seen in recent weeks and months that the Biden administration has pushed for workplaces to require vaccines in order to keep a job. This topic speaks to me because I believe everyone has the right to think about what they want injected into their body and if they are interested in it, instead of being forced.
