Chapters Nine and Ten

How do intermediate sanctions work better – as a way of improving on probation or as a way of avoiding the negatives of imprisonment? Provide examples for full credit.
Describe the conflicts of interest that would occur by having a traditional probation and parole service running intermediate sanctions programs. How can those be addressed?
Using either the custodial, rehabilitative, or reintegration model, tell me which model you would prefer to be in if you were incarcerated. Make sure to discuss all three models pros/cons and conclude as to which one would be best. Make sure to prove your points.
Given your answer to question 3 above, tell me how your response would differ if you answered that question for others. In other words, what model would best work for everyone else and why? Is that what you believed prior to being in this class? Explain.
