Prompt: The Ethical Self-Awareness Evaluation focuses on the Existence of God. In this essay students will write a short essay minimally 500 words in multiple well-formed paragraphs that explains the author’s beliefs on the existence of a deity. Basically, this essay is a descriptive explanatory argument that contains an introduction (that states the issue question and the position being described), a body that includes the origin, evolution, and justification of the belief, and a conclusion. In the second essay, described in its own module, students will work with some course materials to develop an argument. For now, this essay is to provide a baseline and initiate reflection on the topic. The rubric provided above is more for the second essay. The essay students provide in this assignment will be utilized to assess your level of proficiency. Part One of the Ethical Awareness Assignment is worth 5 % of your final grade.
