Your assignment is to write an essay that conveys your attitude about a place through concrete detail descriptions. You may choose a place as simple as a room at your house or as exotic as a faraway vacation spot, but it must be somewhere you have actually been. By writing your own attitude/tone-creating descriptions, you will be able to better identify and analyze concrete detail descriptions in the future!
Your essay should be 2-3 pages in length, but content trumps length. A short, meaningful essay with exceptional diction and syntax will earn far more points than a long, bland, simplistic essay. Follow standard MLA formatting.
