2). Shooting an Elephant is an essay about George Orwells experience living in Burma. Why did he shoot the elephant? Explain how the point-of-view affects how readers understand the events of the essay.
3). A topic of your choice on one or more of the readings weve covered so far this semester. If you choose this option, you should email me at least three days before the essay is due to get your topic approved.
You should not write about the same literary works that you already covered in Essay #1.

Make sure you cite every sentence that is quoted or paraphrased using MLA in-text citations. The paper should be double-spaced with one-inch margins. You should use Times New Roman 12 point font.
Using sources without citing them in a paper is plagiarism. Any plagiarized papers will receive a zero on the assignment.
