There is meta analysis in the systematic review which are demonstrate by forest plots. The forest plots contain many studies. If the confidence interval accross 0, it means the study found that the intervention have no significant effect. Peck2006, mack 2001 and russel 2007 are studies I found have failure of intervention. So the paper should focused on the three studies. Below is the instruction from my professor.
Specify the meta-analysis (if used) and the three reports using APA style for references, and give hyperlinks to them.
Focus on the main outcome variables covered by the authors and for which they detected no effects.
Describe the studies in the paper briefly but attend mainly to to the author’s explanations of why they did not get expected effects in each study. If no reasons are given, then say that.
Give your own opinion if you have an informed one, but separate your opinion from the author’s opinions about failure.
