Drawing on what you’ve learned about gothic literature this week, explain what qualifies Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” and “The Fall of the House of Usher” as works of gothic literature. What do these stories have in common? What gothic techniques do they employ? How and why do they disturb readers? Even as you endeavor to fully answer these questions, you should avoid the impulse to list every single gothic characteristic these stories contain. Structure
Your post, which is essentially a short essay, should include an introduction

that introduces the topic and ends with a clearly worded, 1-2 sentence thesis statement.
