Make a presentation based on the following thesis – I need minimum of 8 slides
“For our project we are going to investigate the current NHL top leaders in goals, points, plus/minus, and how their projected stats affect how much their salaries should be. For finding this information, we are going to be using ESPN’s website in order to see their stats for years past, where we can then use that information to make predictions on what their future stat lines are going to be. We can then use this information to compare their stats with the salaries that they are being paid and analyze the differences in people’s salaries comparatively. We will be able to find out if players are underpaid, or of people are making too much money for the production that they are giving on the ice. If salaries were not long term and were changed every year based on their current status, this would be a way to ensure that people are being paid the amount that they currently deserve. If they are performing over the amount that they should be getting paid, this would give them a reason to either bargain for a new and better contract or leave their team to find a new organization that would give them what they deserve. This data set would be a linear graph based on their performance. Overall, we would be able to find the standard payment that should be given based on the stats of each individual player and see how far off their current payment compares.”
