Requirements

• Include citations to any sources you have used. No specific style for references is needed. This could be as simple as a list of links you have used at the end of the paper.
• Include a one sentence caption with each figure, including the source
Answer the 4 questions, but you may structure the paper in any way you choose.
Mitigation and Adaptation
This paper will cover how your country is planning to adapt to the impacts of climate change. For example, New York City and New Orleans have spent a lot of time and money making sure that the next hurricane that hits will not ruin the city via storm surge. NYC is considering building sea walls and New Orleans has completely revamped their defenses against the sea. Then you will discuss how your country is trying to fight global warming by mitigating the problem through policies or movements to lessen their carbon emissions. If at any time the documents given to you are all in a language you don’t speak, please try to find the info on the web.
Include at least one visual aid in your paper, the more the merrier.
1 Adaptation: How will your country adapt to the inevitable global warming that will take place and the resulting impacts? How will they prepare for the impacts you discussed in Paper #5?

Mitigation
2 Is your country signed onto the Paris Agreement, the international treaty to reduce carbon dioxide emissions? Have they ratified it and has it entered into force?

4 Discuss any alternative energy or carbon sequestrationefforts that exist in your region. (Solar power, wind farms, nuclear energy, improved transportation system, new farming practices, geothermal,hydropower, etc.) Google search to see what you can find.
