You can listen to the whole thing, but the part I want you to pay close attention to starts at about 33 minutes.
For the extra credit, I want you to listen to the excerpt about hookworks “quieting” allergies. I would like you to use PUBMED (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/) and find a research journal article that helps explain, at a molecular/cellular level, why this might be the case.
Write TWO solid, well-written paragraphs of at least 5 sentences each. First paragraph, describe molecular/cellular details of the findings. Paragraph two: explain how the findings in the paper support the RadioLab story. Provide the citation for the article as in APA format. NO WEBSITES, but you can include the DOI at the end of the citation if you’d like.
