After reading the article in the Learning Activity titled, Diversity and Authenticity, prepare and submit a 3 page paper (minus Title and Reference pages), reflecting on the following: Describe a time that you felt purposefully excluded from an activity. This could be an activity in the workplace, social setting, cultural setting, or with family and friends. How long ago did this event happen? How did it make you feel? Exclusion can be experienced as a receiver or giver. Now that you have a better understanding of how exclusion impacts individuals, explain a time where you purposefully, or unknowingly, may have excluded another. In retrospect, how might you specifically ensure others are included rather than excluded, in social gatherings and/or the workplace? For this reflection, be sure to adhere to APA guidelines.
