Overview:
The Project will consist of: Each group will submit a comprehensive report that reviews the organization’s current situation, compare it against recognized best
practices, and make recommendations for improvement.
Objectives
1. Assess the organization as a system with inputs, outputs, processes, and goals (e.g., KPIs).
2. Create an “as is” synopsis detailing times, costs, delays, culture, etc. associated with the current situation or processes.
3. Apply the business assessment tools that have been introduced in the Operations Management class.
4. Make recommendations to increase the value of the processes or organization as a whole.
5. Gain a better understanding of the value of the concepts introduced in the Operations Management class.
