Briefly:
This looks to reflect on seminar 5
notes the content by Yeomans arguing for criminology to make better use of the
past.
Focusing on the ongoing development of drugs and its national crime
policy, how can we use criminology to make better use of the past? (Don’t get
too bogged down in historical matter, instead take some of the summary points
and show how they do/do not emerge again in the same or a different area of national
crime policy). The latter stages of this essay would make a case that ongoing
policy developments do or do not reflect issues from the past in this area.
