Activity
This assignment will focus on one of the following five systems: the Heart, the Circulatory system, the Respiratory system, the Nervous system, and the Urinary system. This is a research activity that will involve conducting online research.
Your assignment should be written in a professional way, according to the APA Format guidelines made available to you. It should be arranged so that readers can process the information easily and quickly. This can be accomplished by providing a well-written report with clearly labelled titles for each section.
Please note that your report should include the following three major sections:
1. TitlePage
2. Main Body (All sources MUST be cited and referenced in APA format)

Technical Specifications
• Provide a title page
• Report is typed, double-spaced with 1″ margins
• Font is Times New Roman 12 pt.
• Use headings to outline each of the guiding questions
• Word count should be about 1000 words but can be up to 2000 words
• Provide references in APA format
Layout

Part 1:
The Overview
Research the major pathological conditions/disorders for one of the above systems of your choice. List the THREE most common disorders in Canada, in order from “most common” to “least common.”
For each condition/disorder you must describe the condition, and provide an explanation of the symptoms, causes, and treatments for the disorder.

Part 2:
The Three Pathological Conditions
For each of the three pathological conditions/disorders chosen, answer the following THREE questions:
1. Who is most at risk?
For each condition, list the various factors that put a person at risk of being susceptible to this condition, providing explanations for the factors that could increase the risks of the condition.
2. What lifestyle changes can be made to minimize these risks?

For each condition, investigate lifestyle changes that can minimize the risks of obtaining the condition. Provide a rationale linking the lifestyle changes to the factors that can lessened the risks.
3. What are the various forms of therapy used by the medical profession to treat/manage the conditions?

Part 3:
Conclusions
How could the pathological conditions you described impact the condition of one’s heart? Using your knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, describe how the disorders listed could lead to or influence a heart condition.
