HRD Definition Paper

Description: You will be expected to produce an 8-page paper, excluding the title page, abstract, or reference page. In this paper, you will synthesize a definition for human resource development utilizing your required and recommended readings. You will analyze the concepts noting differences in approach and contemporary issues that are relevant and challenging to the field of human resource development. You will locate two peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last ten years that speak to the issues you have identified and articulate those issues into a compelling explanation. You will conclude by analyzing the issues you have identified through the research papers/articles you have chosen and formulated an argument on why individuals and academicians in the field should be concerned or attentive to this issue. Be sure to support all of your claims with your research. Do not make independent claims without supporting research unless you are confident it would be universally accepted. You are required to properly utilize the APA ed. 7 style of writing for this paper, including style, format for headings, title page, reference page, and citations.

Parameters:
1. Synthesize a definition for HRD using the required and recommended readings and other research materials.
2. Provide a critical evaluation of the concepts in your definition(s) highlighting the differences in approach
3. Discuss relevant contemporary issues that are challenging to the field of HRD.
4. Find two peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last ten years that speak to the contemporary issues you have discovered.
5. Articulate an argument on why individuals and scholars in HRD should be more attentive to these issues.
6. Note: Strong papers will demonstrate the following qualities: integration of the literature from the course, conceptual development of ideas, and quality of writing/presentation

APA formatting must be used for the entire paper, including headings, body, text citations, and reference page.
