Instructions:
This paper should be 3-4 pages long and you must use 2 sources that are NOT any of the readings that I have assigned. Please do not simply copy my notes from class and repeat them back to me. Also the paper should be 12pt font and double-spaced.
Paper Content:
The paper should have 4 sections
Section 1: Please give a general description of the disorder that you think the person in the case study has. You are not talking about the person in the case study in this section. Give a general description of the disorder as if you are talking to someone who doesn’t know anything about the disorder. You need to do research for this section on the internet or in the library. I do not want a restatement of the information from the class lecture. Any information in this section that did not come from your own head should have a citation, even if it’s not a direct quote. This way the reader knows which source your information came from.
Section 2: Give examples of the person’s behavior from the case study that support your diagnosis of the disorder that you talked about in Section 1. What about the person’s behavior tells you that your diagnosis is correct?
Section 3: How would you treat this person? Again, this is where you need to do internet or library research. I do not want a restatement of class lectures. Be thorough in this section: Would you do talk therapy? What kind and why? What’s involved in that talk therapy? Would you give medicine? What kind and why? What does that medicine do for the brain?
Section 4: A reference page. I don’t care if this is done in MLA or APA style. I just want to know where you got your information from. If you used a website, then I want the link to that website. You should have a MINIMUM of 4 sources.
