There are a few really obvious examples but can you think of an example that is not big and showy? Are bryophytes like mosses and liverworts under threat? Are the ferns or gymnosperms? Angiosperms are very showy and humans have affected the increased the biomass of many species while really decreasing biodiversity in certain habitats. How have humans done this. Present one example of humans affecting plant diversity by explaining what we have done / do that decreases it. Should we consider plant diversity when human expansion and food requirements affect it? Why or why not?
