Instructions:
Make sure that you have read Chapters 8-10 and the grading rubric before beginning this assignment. Answer the above questions in your own words. However, you may use outside sources but you must have in-text citations and a Works Cited Page if you use any source, including your text.
Deliverable:
Use the proper MLA heading for the paper.
Your essay must be at least four (4) paragraphs long. One paragraph for each of the questions posed. A paragraph is more than three (3) or four (4) sentences. This part of the assignments should be no less than three (3) full pages long. You may write more but no less than three (3) full pages.
Use a search engine to locate information. You must have a minimum of three (3) sources. For citations, follow MLA format. If there is no Works Cited and/or in-text citations the grade is zero.
Your document must be double-spaced using a 12-point Times New Roman.
Proofread your document to eliminate mechanical (spelling and punctuation) and grammatical errors. You will be downgraded based on those errors. Use spell and grammar check in Word to avoid such errors and when proofreading make sure you do not leave any words underlined in green, red or blue in Word. Fix them before sending them to me.
You are required to have in-text citations and a Works Cited page. Remember in-text citations are required when you use another’s ideas (paraphrase or summarize) even if you do not quote directly. In the case of a quote, you will also need “quotation marks”. If you used other sources without attribution or quoted material without attribution or in any case failed to have a Works Cited page and/or in-text citations, the grade for the entire paper is zero (0) if this is a first offense. See the syllabus for second offenses. Please do not plagiarize by using material from another source without giving credit.
