Topic: What is Revenue Management and to what extent is it adopted in Tourism Industry?
Research Questions: What is revenue management, how well is it applied today by hoteliers and how effective is it?
Suggested Methodology:
That assignment aims to provide an overview of what is Revenue Management and to evaluate the application of various Revenue Management practices. To do so, the paper is going to be divided to four parts.
The first part will provide an overview of what is Revenue Management through literature sources.
The second is going to present, discuss and compare four recent relevant researches (Application of Revenue Management Practices in Star-Rated Hotels In Kenya, The research-practice gap in hotel revenue management: Insights from Italy , Investigation of the revenue management practices of accommodation establishments in Turkey: An exploratory study , An empirical analysis of the effectiveness of hotel Revenue Management in five-star hotels in Barcelona, Spain)
The third part will present Revenue Management challenges and obstacles.
The fourth and final part of the assignment is going to provide a clear answer to the research questions and Conclusions.

The second part should be divided into 2 parts, in the first part the research should be presented (eg the purpose of each research, where it was conducted and to whom, with what method and conclusions, what were the limitations/obstacles in each research and perhaps suggestions for improvements in future research, etc.) In the second part, you must compare the results of the researches in order to come to some conclusions regarding to what extent is revenue management applied in practice and what other conclusions are derived from the researches. This piece should be 1500-2000 words. In the third part, I want you to refer to the challenges-obstacles faced by Revenue Management. In the fourth part, based on what you have mentioned above, you must arrive at a clear answer to the question posed by the topic and the research questions and there should be a conclusion in which it would certainly be good to have suggestions for improvement regarding the challenges, or for a better application of theory in practice or for whatever else you think. If it is deemed necessary by you, the third and fourth parts can be combined, but for any other changes in the recommended structure, please inform me so that I can see if I can get approval for changes in the structure.
