For this assignment, you will write a 4-5 page research paper using scholarly and scientific articles to interpret data and draw a conclusion that answers your approved research question (refer to Week 2’s assignment). In your paper you are to include:
An introduction that clearly states your thesis and how it focuses on your topic and answers your drafted research question.
The body of your paper is to provide evidence that further supports your overall thesis statement in a logical, fully developed and consistent manner. In addition, for each new subtopic that supports your overall thesis, be sure to articulate in your text how the subtopic relates and further expounds on your thesis statement.
A conclusion that helps the reader understand why your research topic matters after they have completed reading your paper. Do note, the conclusion statement is not a summary of your overall paper.
In addition to submitting the term paper, you will also create a 10-15 slide PowerPoint Presentation that answers the following questions:
1. What is your topic?
2. Why is your topic important to the healthcare industry?
3. Explain the EDP of your topic (Exposure, Disease, Population/Patient)
4. Discuss three (3) population-driven challenges associated with your topic?
5. Discuss three (3) potential solutions that help improve the three challenges you identified?
6. Discuss if there are enough available research studies on your topic. Explain why or why not.
7. Discuss how your topic will impact your identified population/patients in the next 5 to 10 years
8. Discuss one (1) lesson you have learned from completing your research project
