Purpose:
The purpose of this discussion is to develop a working thesis. The thesis is the main claim of your paper. It is very natural to consider many different claims when brainstorming on a topic. Drafting several versions of possible theses will help you apply the principles of strong thesis writing, a skill you will use in all of your college coursework.
Task:
