Write a 750 word analysis essay of the movie “Glory Road”
PARAGRAPH ONE-Begin with an introduction about the author or the person that made the movie. For a movie, the introduction can be more problematic. Who is the most important person making the movie—a director, an actor, or a producer?
PARAGRAPH TWO-Briefly analyze the major and minor characters of the story. The characters are the people (or perhaps animals or machines) in a story or movie. Explain the major characters of the story—who are the most important characters? Explain the minor characters of the story, the characters that are not so important. You don’t have to list or explain all the minor characters because there may be many minor characters.
PARAGRAPH THREE-Briefly analyze the setting (time and place) of the story. Every movie or story has at least one setting. What is the main or most important setting? There may be various scenes in the movie. You could explain several of them. What is the time? What is the season? How many days are there? How much time passes?
PARAGRAPH(S) FOUR-Briefly summarize the plot (action) of the story. You may need more than one paragraph to explain the plot. You might think about the protagonist—the main character. What are some conflicts in the movie or story? What happens in the story or movie from the beginning to the end?
CONCLUSION PARAGRAPH-Briefly state your opinion about the work you have chosen. You can write a brief review here. Did you like the story and why? Did you not like the movie and why? Would you recommend that someone else watch a movie or read the story?
