Students are required to find resources in New Jersey that could be used as referrals for clients with issues outside the students’ expertise. There are two parts to this assignment:
Students are to find resources in their community that address a wide variety of issues and they are to develop a two to four page Resources & Referral Guide. Examples include emergency services, domestic violence support groups, emergency food, and housing resources, (This can be in a sub-header and bullet point format)
Student will write a one-page summary of a current client’s resource needs noting the agencies on the Resources and Referral Guide which will be helpful to the client.
