Journal 9: Observing Non-Verbal Behaviour

Go to a public place such as the cafeteria. Without being too obvious, observe two people who are involved in a conversation, but whom you cannot hear. Observe the people for at least 15 minutes.
In your journal:
Record the non-verbal behaviours you observe, and your interpretations of those behaviours. Make some guesses about their relationship, the nature of their conversation, and so on.
Describe how you might apply your ability to interpret the non-verbal behaviours of other people (even though you can’t hear them) to your work as a correctional officer.
