Consumers are exposed to advertising all of the time online. In this unit, you are learning about the various types of digital advertising, including social media advertisements, paid search advertisements, and additional online advertising methods (e.g., native, remarketing or retargeting, display, and video advertisements). People often ignore advertisements or scroll past them. However, digital advertising is unique because it is so much better at targeting ads toward people and their interests. Think about an advertisement that you saw online that caught your interest (you may or may not have purchased it; regardless, think of something that made you take notice). Address the following:
