“What is the impact of the preoperative skin preparation procedures on S. aureus surgical site infections: a systematic review.”
Regretfully, it does not achieve a passing grade as it does not adequately reflect the learning outcomes of the module or the requirements of the assignments.
Some of the writing and content is satisfactory. However, it all relates to emotional intelligence. There is little or no discussion about Leadership theories or Leadership styles or use of scenarios from clinical practice. Please read the assignment guidelines which clearly set out what is expected of you. You have written almost exclusively about EI and it reads like a literature review of the concept. Its okay to include EI as one of your concepts you wish to discuss but it cannot be the whole essay.
The other issue you must address is paraphrasing and referencing. You are using large amount of paraphrased text that does not acknowledge the author. You can only leave unreferenced if its original thought (i.e. your own thinking/writing). This can also be corrected by adhering to the principles of academic writing and referencing.
I know you will be disappointed to hear this. If you address these issues, then you will have a better chance of achieving a pass grade later in a repeat.
1. Referencing needs to be consistent and adhere to the referencing guidelines (Harvard Referencing). It is difficult to ascertain your own original thought from other content in your current style of writing.
2. The assignment must clearly reflect learning outcomes of the module and assignment requirements.
This will improve all other assignments and the potential to pass any resubmission. You should also seek some advice and guidance from school staff e.g. (course coordinator, module lead).
