For my essay I have two questions, each response needs to be about a page and a half. Works cited are not necessary because all of your info will come from our in class-readings. I have included the in-class readings below. The two questions are as followed:
1. Required reading: Recitatif
What is going on in the story in terms of events, relationships, and social stereotypes?
– Including quotes from the story and addressing the question listed, write an in-depth summary and reflection of the story.
2. Required reading: The Black Studies Reader A. Black Feminism: Acts of Resistance p.77-79 and B. Representing Black Men p.113-152
Including quotes from all assigned readings, write a detailed summary and reflection.
