Tom and Jerry are trying to fix up an old car. They find that it is becoming very expensive
to get parts. Tom says that they should just store the car till they save some more money.
Jerry says hell check around to see if there are some used parts in junkyards that will fit.
Jerry goes to a junkyard at night and jumps over the fence. He searches around and finds
a wreck from which he removes several of the parts he needs. As he heads for the fence,
he passes a shed. Looking inside, Jerry sees some tools, so he goes in and takes a set of jacks,
valued at @ $253.00.
The next day, Jerry met Tom and they began to work on their car. Tom asked Jerry where
he had gotten the parts. Jerry said he had a friend, who lent him some money to buy the parts,
but then joked that Tom should be careful how he picked them up since they were so hot.
Tom helped Jerry grind off some serial numbers from one of the parts. Later that day, the
police come to Tom and Jerrys house and arrest them.
