Step 2 Reflect. Take notes on the following questions. Use these notes to prepare your 3 page report.
List the websites that you followed. What countries do these websites report on?
Why did you select these three websites / countries to focus on?
List the dates that you logged into these websites to track the reporting.
What were the common stories reported on in these three news sources and in U.S. news reports?
What made news around the world this week?
Did you notice any important differences in how each news source reported the event? If so, briefly describe the differences you observed. What did each report have in common?
What were the unique news events that each website reported on? Were you able to easily understand these news stories? Why or why not?
How can we use the news, U.S. and International, to help us improve our Global Awareness?
Comment on the following:
Based on your observations, who are important people to know about in these cultures?
Based on your observations, what seem to be important places or important events to people from these cultures?
How can knowing about international news events help with intercultural communication?
Incorporate a few visuals into your report in order to help the class better understand some of the news stories you were following this week.

Edit this report to correct any spelling, grammatical and typographical errors. Be sure you have formatted it correctly (Essay format, 3 page, 12 point font, 1 inch margins). Save your final draft.
