ASSOCIATIONS BETWEEN NATURE EXPOSURE, GREEN EXERCISE, LIFE SATISFACTION AND STRESS IN A MIDDLE- AGED GROUP OF PEOPLE

Select any topic of your interest and create an online survey using Google Forms, apklausa.lt
or any other. In the survey, all main variable types should be included like nominal (gender,
city), ordinal (quality of life, self-rated health or any rating on Likert scale) and continuous
(age, weight, height or any score). If you work alone, the minimum required number of study
variables (questions) is 4-5 (more is ok).
2. Distribute your survey link by personal contacts and/or social network. Please remember, that
data collection takes time (1-2 weeks) so take it into account when planning your time to
complete the task.
3. If you prepare the task on your own, the minimum required sample size is 60-70 study
participants to be able to employ statistical tests.
4. You can prepare the project in a group of a maximum of 4 students. Then, the number of study
participants and study variables should be multiplied by the number of authors, e.g., if the
project is prepared by 3 students, the minimum sample size is 180-210, minimum no. of
questions is 12-15 (more is always ok). Note, all questions should be used for the analysis.
5. You can use the data collected on other purposes, e.g., for a bachelor thesis. Any objective
measurements are also very welcome.
6. Project should include:
 title page (if there are more than one author, all authors should be listed);
 sample characteristics (sample size, distribution in % by gender, mean ± SD of age and range
of age);
 results.
7. Results should be presented in accordance with the research objectives. Objectives should be
very simple. Examples of research objectives can be found in the tasks for self-study (compare
means or distributions, calculate correlation, etc.).
8. Results have to be presented in tables and/or graphs following the requirements of data
presentation learned during practical sessions.
9. Statistical analysis should include descriptive and comparative statistical methods, like testing
distribution normality of continuous variable and after selecting correct statistical test
comparing means in the groups of your interest.
10. Minimum or maximum amount of pages is not specified.
