RESULTS & DISCUSSION

Please throughly read the attached directions, key info below and my research proposal to write the RESULTS (LIMATIONS) AND DISCUSSION section of my research study.

Key Information about my study:
Results:
My result section will actually be limitations I faced during my study.
LACK OF ELIGBLE PARTICPANTS: Unfortunately, I was not able to recruit any participants because the demographics of clients in the group home changed from all African Americans to all caucasin, in which I could not utilize for this particular study. I did not have any control nor knowledge on the client demographic change at the grouphome facility.
POPULATION IMPACT: I was too population-specific. My study required particpants to be an African American adolescent malebetween 13-17 years old, judically involved, received or receiving mental health services, in a level 3 group homein Charlotte, NC. Being this specific, I hindered myself from being able to interview other races, genders, age groups or other supervised facilities.

Discussion:
Upon returning to the group home agency to recruit my participants to begin the interviews, the agency mentioned that they changed their client demographics to all white adolescent males instead of african american adolescents because it seems to be “easier” to work with white teens than black teens, especially those with mental and behavioral issues.
I want to utilize this information in my discussion to express the issue of the difference of care for african american youth compared to other races. Why may this be the case? (FIND OTHER RESEARCH STUDIES AND/LITERATURE REGARDING OR SUPPORTING THE ISSUE)
I also want to discuss the extremely low wages of group home care providers. Being that these type of care providers are often underpaid for the extensive amount of work and long hours, could also be a contributing factor toan agency not accepting certain clients into the agency because of the amount of additional care that may be needed. Could it be the agency realizes that and in order to keep staff, they are reluctant to bring in clients that may be “harder” to work with? Hashimoto’s Disease

Choose a health problem in the human population- I would like this topic to be on Hashimoto’s disease.
Describe the biological and physiological aspects of the health problem and potential chemical treatments or pathways that are affected.
Discuss the natural progression of chronic diseases, or the natural history of infectious or exposure-related illnesses.
What are the potential outcomes of the disease (recovery or death), and what leads to those potential outcome(s)?

Interview Essay with an adult on adolesence

Interview an adult, at least above age 25, about an adolescent. Ask this person to reflect on their adolescent years and to describe a typical day in detail. What did they do? Who were they with? Was there something else they wished they could be doing? What was expected of them? What were their dreams for the future? Prompt the person to describe what is/was going on in their culture around the time of their adolescence.Interview an adult, at least above age 25, about an adolescent. Admin in Human Services

Your hypothetical agency now has a logic model, goals and objectives, staff, and a budget. Now you can use all of these elements to develop an information system that will enable you to document program implementation and the accomplishment of objectives. You will also want to develop formats to document client demographics and keep track of the types and numbers of services provided as well as number of clients served.
Address the following questions based on your hypothetical human service program. Write your answers in an APA narrative format. Be sure to develop a strong argument and support your statements with evidence from the course reading material and any additional professional sources. Be sure to cite your references and be concise and articulate your ideas thoroughly.
Describe your information system, giving particular attention to:
how you will measure the accomplishment of objectives
how you will document changes in the quality-of-life conditions experienced by clientsYour hypothetical agency now has a logic model, goals and objectives, staff, and a budget.
