IT Teams and Group Dynamics

In a professional career, you may be called upon to conduct research and deliver findings in professionalsettings. No matter how extensive the research or accurate
the conclusions, a weak presentation can undermine your argument or larger goals. A presentation is a tool to assist in making an argument. When creating
presentations you develop skills in researching an issue, synthesizing the information, organizing data logically, and presenting findings in an effective manner.
Principles of an Effective Presentation:
You may use a productsuch as Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Prezi to create your presentations.
• There are various template designs that you can find on the web for your presentation. However, first consider your presentation from the perspective of
your audience prior to selecting a specific style. Distracting backgrounds, large blocks of text, all uppercase fonts, elaborate font styles, grammatical errors,
and misspellings are distracting. Be consistent with the style of text, bullets, and sub-pointsin order to support a powerful presentation that allows your
content to be the focus.
• Each slide should include your key point(s). Do not place large blocks of text on the screen. Your presentation is not a means of presenting a short paper. In
an actual presentation, you would not read from your slides, but rather use them as prompts.
• Any notes or narration you would use in delivering this presentation to a group should be listed in the “notes” section of the slide.
• Referencesshould be listed at the bottom of the slide in slightly smaller text.
• Use clip art, AutoShapes, pictures, charts, tables, and diagrams to enhance but not overwhelm your content.
• Be mindful of the intended audience and seek to assess the presentation’s effectiveness by gauging audience comprehension (when possible).
Below are some links that offer helpful tips and examples for developing your presentations:
• Making PowerPoint Slides
• Beyond Bullet Points: The Better Way to Use PowerPoint
• Really Bad PowerPoint and How to Avoid it
You may submit either a complete PowerPoint deck with corresponding audio narration or a complete PowerPoint deck with the finalized script in the slide notes
section. For more information about embedding audio recordingsin PowerPoint, you can access PowerPoint 2010 tutorials through Infobase videos provided in the
module resources. Infobase includes hundreds of different video tutorials that provide basic to advanced guidance on using different versions of the program and
use on different operating systems.

As your EBP skills grow, you may be called upon to share your expertise with others. While EBP practice is often conducted with unique outcomes in mind, EBP practitioners who share their results can both add to the general body of knowledge and serve as an advocate for the application of EBP.

DEVELOPING A CULTURE OF EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE
As your EBP skills grow, you may be called upon to share your expertise with others. While EBP practice is often conducted with unique outcomes in mind, EBP practitioners who share their results can both add to the general body of knowledge and serve as an advocate for the application of EBP.

In this Discussion, you will explore strategies for disseminating EBP within your organization, community, or industry.

To Prepare:

Review the Resources and reflect on the various strategies presented throughout the course that may be helpful in disseminating effective and widely cited EBP.
This may include: unit-level or organizational-level presentations, poster presentations, and podium presentations at organizational, local, regional, state, and national levels, as well as publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Reflect on which type of dissemination strategy you might use to communicate EBP.
Post at least two dissemination strategies you would be most inclined to use and explain why. Explain which dissemination strategies you would be least inclined to use and explain why. Identify at least two barriers you might encounter when using the dissemination strategies you are most inclined to use. Be specific and provide examples. Explain how you might overcome the barriers you identified.

What is management

Write a discussion post of no more than 250 words answering the following:
• What is management? If using a common definition, be sure to elaborate on what that means in your own words.
• What are the four managerial functions that managers need to be able to perform? Briefly describe what they entail.
• Identify the different types of managers and their roles.
• Choose a company (for example, a fast-food restaurant or a clothing store) and list the types of managers they might have and how they would work together as a team.

Criteria
Question 1 – Definition of management is a good definition. It comes from a reputable source, or demonstrates a strong understanding of how management is commonly defined.
Question 2- All four functions of management, as defined in the text, are listed including a brief description.
Question 3- A strong identification of the different types of managers is given. There is enough detail regarding their roles that a person outside of the course, who is unfamiliar with management structures, may understand the nature of the assignment. Details and examples may be given about the different roles of the managers.
Question 4- Real company example with the managerial levels required and how they may interact as a team is an excellent example. One or more strong examples are given for each level and how they interact. No misconceptions are apparent in each managerial level or interactions.

Module 5 week 9 transforming nursing

THE INCLUSION OF NURSES IN THE SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
In the media introduction to this module, it was suggested that you as a nurse have an important role in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). With a focus on patient care and outcomes, nurses may not always see themselves as contributors to the development of new systems. However, as you may have observed in your own experience, exclusion of nurse contributions when implementing systems can have dire consequences.

In this Discussion, you will consider the role you might play in systems development and the ramifications of not being an active participant in systems development.

To Prepare:

Review the steps of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as presented in the Resources.
Reflect on your own healthcare organization and consider any steps your healthcare organization goes through when purchasing and implementing a new health information technology system.
Consider what a nurse might contribute to decisions made at each stage of the SDLC when planning for new health information technology.
Post a description of what you believe to be the consequences of a healthcare organization not involving nurses in each stage of the SDLC when purchasing and implementing a new health information technology system. Provide specific examples of potential issues at each stage of the SDLC and explain how the inclusion of nurses may help address these issues. Then, explain whether you had any input in the selection and planning of new health information technology systems in your nursing practice or healthcare organization and explain potential impacts of being included or not in the decision-making process. Be specific and provide examples.

Image Analysis Essay on Advil Print Ad

Please see detailed instructions attached. Please do not use any existing article or essay and write the analysis from scratch. My learning institution is very strict with AI content and plagiarism, and we use a paid subscription for detailed violation report.

Important Notes:
1) Please see assignment details and follow instructions strictly below. My learning center is very strict on AI-written content and plagiarism and paraphrasing. They are looking at a 99% written by human probability and any high indication that it is AI-written or low percentage of human writing would reject my essay and fail me, and probably ban me in their website. We use CopyLeaks to detect AI and plagiarism in details.
2) Please include in the first paragraph a strong thesis statement. In the draft I wrote, I used: “In this essay, I will perform an image analysis and examine why a well-executed print ad can have a powerful impact on consumer brand recall.” This thesis statement in the opening paragraph will be answered in the conclusion based on the content provided in each paragraph of the essay.
3) Please answer the following questions as well:
a) What is the significance of your essay? Why should readers care about what you have written? (2-3 sentences)
Note: Think about why you decided to analyze this particular image, or why you picked the word you chose to define. Your interest in in your subject matter should be clear to readers.
b) Which areas of your draft do you think will benefit most from revision? (2-3 sentences) Note: Consider the organization, style, focus, development, and conventions of your draft. Which areas did you struggle to complete?
c) Consider the strengths and weaknesses of your writing. How can you capitalize on your strengths and improve on your weaknesses in future essays? (3-4 sentences)
Note: Think about what was easy about writing the draft, and what was more difficult. For example, if you write paragraphs with strong topic sentences, but repeatedly use the same type of sentence to provide supporting details, you can improve your paragraphs by varying sentence structure.
——————-
ASSIGNMENT: Write an image analysis of 3-5 page (approximately 800-1300 words) informative essay. As a part of your completed draft, complete the color coding activity
described below. In addition, answer the “Think About Your Writing” questions on a separate sheet of paper and include it with your draft submission.
Note: Touchstone 3 will be a revision of the draft that you submit for Touchstone 2.2.
Sample Image Analysis Essay: Prompt A (attached)
In order to foster learning and growth, all essays you submit must be newly written specifically for this course. Any recycled work will be sent back with a 0, and you will be given one attempt to redo the Touchstone.
A. IMAGE ANALYSIS: Although we look at print advertisements every day, we often do not consider the ways in which they affect us. Visual images in ads can influence and persuade us, so it is important to evaluate them critically to understand their meanings. Good image analysis involves examination of the components of an image to gain an understanding of the whole.
Select an advertisement image to analyze. The advertisement you choose should be a single image directed towards a specific audience. To identify the intended audience, think about the members of the potential audience for the advertisement that you have chosen. Who are they? Ads for a beauty product, for example, may be aimed at young girls; ads for a deodorant might target men; a diaper ad is likely intended for new parents; ads for cruise trips might be aimed at retirees. You can use any academically-appropriate advertisement to complete this assignment, as long as its intended audience is clearly identified.
Your thesis must inform the reader of your topic and purpose. Because you are writing in the informative mode, use objective language and a neutral point of view.

NOTES
I have choosen to write about NEW YORK HEALTH ACT & down below is what i have written so far. Please feel free to use it or not. Also you CAN use a different ACT if you want to. PS. I LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY IF YOU DECIDED TO CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ACT.

The legislative branch is significant for governing the country and maintaining order. Throughout history, there have been many legislative Acts and policies that have been implemented in New York States to make the health care system better. One that has been recently enforce is the New York Health Act (NYHA) otherwise known as A04738. The New York Health Act would estalish the New Year Health program to provide a single-payer system with the aim of offering all New Yorkers and the undocumented with full coverage and access to universal healthcare (quotation). This bill would allow New Yorkers to select any provider company they desire, and all medically necessary treatments would be covered. Without applying, all New Yorkers would be automatically enrolled to A04738 , neither financial or employment status would have any bearing on the quality of care. Furthermore, all home care services would be available and paid home care would take their place. Although this would be a significant advancement in the health-care system, there are cons and other subject matter that Senate Republicans have consider that has prolong the proceeding to move the bill forward.
