researching contract resources

For this discussion you will again be asked to do a bit of investigating. Here is one example of a consultation contract.

Your assignment is to search online to find other examples of contracts, fee schedules, and definitions of roles and responsibilities. Be sure to research at a minimum 2 professional expert contracts not just contracts in general. Be sure to really take the time to understand contracts and how they relate specifically the expert role. You need to research at least 2-3 contracts and compare and contrast them this week. Keep in mind this is a great exercise for your future career path, so really dive deep into the details of contracts this week.Be sure to research at a minimum 2 professional expert contracts not just contracts in general. Things I Know to be True, both the full production and the interview with the show’s director

this week’s Discussion Board will require that you first view our Theatre Viewing Assignment for this week, Things I Know to be True, both the full production and the interview with the show’s director .

This production and the company that created this show often create productions that are extremely physical. By “physical’ I mean, primarily, the way in which the actors move, and the way in which furniture is used in the play.

After you’ve viewed both videos, I’d like you to consider the physical aspects of this production. Think about specific moments in which the actors were moving – either alone, with others or with furniture in a non-realistic manner. In this Discussion Board, I’d like you to point to one or more of these specific examples of this type of movement. When did it happen, what, exactly, was happening, who and/or what was involved in the physical movement, etc. And then discuss whether you thought that this non-realistic physical movement helped to tell the story of the play or if it added an element of confusion.

Social and Emotional Development

In chapter 14, of BEGINNINGS & BEYOND Foundations in Early Childhood ( I have uploaded) we learned about
psychosocial development. There are many research articles that contain activities to promote social and emotional skills in children. When early childhood professionals want to research some current articles in the field, we look for them on
the National Association for the Education of Young Children website, which has articles from their peer-reviewed
Young Children journal publication.

http://www.naeyc.org/

Begin by going to the National Association for the Education of Young Children website.
Then click on RESOURCES on the blue band in the home page.
Then click on TOPICS. Then scroll down to SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT and click.
This area contains a list of articles.

Choose two articles, state the title, author(s), date of publication, and highlight the main points.

Then, from what you learned in the readings, describe 3 activities you could facilitate in your current or imagined early
childhood classroom that promote social and/or emotional skills and learning.
Describe each activity and why it supports social and emotional learning. Your activities should be age specific to
children less than age 6.
State the specific age you are creating the activities for.
Please cite the textbook and readings to support your discussion.

Module 2: Individual Assignment: Standard for Quality & Safety Case

Assignment Overview

Part 1

In this assignment, you will address the use of practice guidelines and standards to evaluate clinical case outcomes. The case of Esteban provides the clinical scenario.

Case Scenario: Esteban is a busy professional in his late thirties. Three years ago at his last visit, the doctor recommended he quit smoking and lose weight. According to his doctor, his blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol were a little high and improving his diet would help improve his overall health. He has cut back on his smoking and has also gained a little weight, despite his efforts to lose. He was too busy to return to the clinic for 6 months follow-up labs or return for last year’s health maintenance. He returns to the office today, three years later, for another health maintenance visit.

Gender’s Gap

For this discussion forum, be sure you have watched all the videos in this week’s content folder. You
may also want to explore the ACLU’s website. As you see, there is quite a gender gap within the
criminal justice system – from arrest to disposition and sentencing. In other facets of society, we have
been working hard to close the gender gap. Should we close it here too?
For this forum, please provide your opinion on the gender gap matter by answering the following
questions:
1.Should women be treated more like men when it comes to how they are processed by and through
the criminal justice system, or should men be treated more like women? Explain your position.

2.Should the current system with all its disparities remain in place? Explain your position.

An Evil Woman

For this discussion, be sure you have watched the short video on The Evil Women Theory. The Evil
Women Theory suggests a more serious punishment for women since they have deviated from the
stereotypical role of being feminine. The video highlights the death penalty and calls it a social
cleansing of sorts used for women who have violated the social values of a collective sense of
humanity and a collective sense of femininity.

For this discussion, please select one woman from this list of “Current Female Death Row Prisoners”.
Women | Death Penalty Information Center
.

Once you have made your selection, read the short summary here about the woman you selected.
CASE SUMMARIES FOR FEMALE OFFENDERS UNDER DEATH SENTENCES AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2012 | Death Penalty Information Center

Then, conduct a general Internet search (academic articles are not necessary), and see if you can find additional information on the woman you selected to help you answer the questions below.

For this discussion forum, please do the following:

1.State the name of the woman you selected along with her case summary (from the link above,
copy and paste is fine).

2.State whether the woman you selected fits the profile described in The Evil Women video.
Specifically, state whether the woman you selected is POOR and UNEDUCATED. You can include a
brief description of her background, generally.

3.State whether the victim(s) of the woman you selected fit(s) the profile of the victims described
in
The Evil Women video. Specifically, is the victim white and a member of a protected class?
4.Explain whether or not you think your selected woman’s crimes rise to the level of violating
society’s collective sense of humanity and collective sense of femininity.
