This week you will use PowerPoint to layout your website design. Each slide should represent a new page or link in your website. At a minimum your website should consist of the following:

Home page
About You page
Application prototype informational page
Marketing page
User Guide page
Part of your grade will be posting your PPTX file to the 2nd Week 5 discussion thread, and replying to at least 2 other students’ in that thread.

Your final product will consist of a real website in which will have to submit the URL to. You can use any of the freeware available (i.e. Google site) to create it.

Introduction – Briefly discuss health care policy as it relates to nursing’s covenant with the public.
Describe the components of the Quadruple Aim assessing how it represents a balanced approach to health care delivery.
Identify and analyze one practice issue to address. This may be based on an encounter in your clinical experience or an overarching practice concern (How can leaders in nursing improve nurse retention rates?)

Formulate an approach to the chosen practice issue utilizing the Quadruple Aim approach (Refer to Mason, p. 5).
Utilize research and evidence-based practice to devise your plan.
Enlist other professionals and stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of your plan, including a brief description of each one’s contribution.

Describe the desired outcome. Include an impact statement regarding population health. The population may vary based on your chosen practice issue.

Discuss your professional nursing philosophy. This may have been developed prior to the current assignment.
Melt together your nursing philosophy with health care policy as it relates to your profession. Include your personal leadership role development as it pertains to health care policy. Validate how, as a professional nursing leader, you are able to impact or influence policy and politics in professional nursing practice.

Overview

When performing an evaluation to determine the performance or health of a company, it is important to identify and evaluate any current or potential risks the company might face.

In this assignment, you will perform a risk assessment for Trans Global Airlines to better understand its business environment.

Prompt

Perform a risk assessment for TransGlobal Airlines and write a report describing the results.

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

Identification: Identify two risks the company is facing, including at least one high-impact risk.
Identify the balanced scorecard component each risk corresponds to.
Classify the risk based on these two types:
Operational

Strategic
Evaluation: Determine whether the probability and impact of each identified risk is low, medium, or high. Justify your evaluation of the impact and probability of each risk.
Mitigation: Recommend a possible risk-prevention or mitigation strategy for each identified risk.
What to Submit
Submit a 1- to 2-page Word document using double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Sources should be cited according to APA style.

For this unit’s Assignment, your knowledge will culminate in drafting a demand letter to our client’s school. Please review the LS502 Fact Pattern (attached as a separate file).

In this demand letter, please explain the students’ rights to freedom of speech while they are in school. Please inform the school as to what you believe they did wrong and how you believe they need to fix it under the law.

Create a new document in your word processor. Type, or cut-and-paste, the biblical text that you previously selected for the biblical exegesis paper to the document. Psalms 1:1-6. Change the line-spacing to 2 and increase the left and right margins to at least 1.5 inches.

Step 2: Following the guidance of Gorman, Elements of Biblical Exegesis, Chapters 3, 4, and 6, carefully read the text in the newly created document. Read it multiple times. Read it slowly. In addition, using your Bible, read the text in its immediate and larger contexts (Gorman, 2010, p. 75).

As you read the text in the newly created document, use underlining (single line, double line, etc.) and/or shapes (circles, boxes, triangles, etc.) to mark names (people and places), personal pronouns, prepositions, verbs, logical connectors (so, therefore, then, etc.), figures of speech, non-routine terms, references to biblical themes, etc.

Also, in the margins, record the questions and observations that come to mind.

Pretend the text is a cut diamond and you are a jeweler assessing its value. Just as a jeweler will study every facet of the diamond, study every facet of the biblical text.

Note: You may print the document containing the biblical text and make your notations by hand, or you may mark the text using the tools available in your word processor.

Also note: For an illustration of what your text might look like after marking key elements and recording questions and observations in the margin, please see the Sample Marked Text posted at the end of the instructions.

Step 3: Reflect on the text selected for the exegesis paper in relation to its immediate and larger literary contexts. How is the text related to the immediate and larger literary contexts? How do the immediate and larger literary contexts inform the message of the text for its original recipients? Additional questions for reflection are found in Gorman, Elements of Biblical Exegesis, Chapter 4 (Literary and Rhetorical Contexts, Canonical Context). You do not need to write answers to these questions. Use them to guide your reflection on the text.

Also, again, in the margins, record the questions and observations that come to mind as you observe the immediate and larger literary contexts.

Note: For the purpose of this assignment, consider the canonical context as a piece of the larger context.

At this point, do not read a treatment of the text in a commentary. The objective at this stage is to observe the biblical text in its literary context.

Tentatively state a thesis for the exegesis paper in a single sentence. What is the text about? What is God communicating through the author? What is the author’s point? How might you present the message of the text in an exegesis paper? What will you argue?

Please heed Gorman’s wisdom:

“An exegesis paper without a thesis indicates that the writer has not come to any conclusion but has simply accumulated a lot of data or ideas. This is really not exegesis nor is it acceptable for paper writing at either the undergraduate or graduate level” (Gorman, 2010, p. 66).

This essay assignment is a very short paper; around 2-3 pages.. To find a topic, suggest you peruse the textbook to find an area of personality that can be considered controversial, and then conduct research on this, preferably through your library, or possibly online. I am okay with searching online for this, since it it is not a research paper, but instead is more of a current events topic. Be leary of proprietary sites, as well as sties that are not scholarly.

Ideas for topics could include: Can personality disorders be treated?, Is antisocial personality disorder biology based?, Are personalities shaped most by nature, or by nurture?

Can people learn empathy? and many others. Your final paragraph should summarize your own views on this topic. It is fine to not have a firm conclusion.

The best works of literature are those that speak directly to the heart. Read Module Two (attached) and explain how it, more than the other selections, speaks to you the most. Was there a particular phrase or scene that strongly resonated with you?

The Fourier transform is an operation that transforms data from the time (or spatial) domain into the frequency domain. In this chapter, the Fourier transform is related to the complex Fourier series. It is demonstrated that the transform can be considered as the limiting case of the complex Fourier series.

In brief, Fourier transform is based on the idea that functions of suitable properties can be represented with a linear combinations of trigonometric functions. This decomposition using trigonometric functions can be seen as extracting frequency-domain information from a time-domain signal, allowing for alternative or more efficient ways of investigating or modifying a signal.

Two sets of synthetic data sets are used to validate the applicability of the noise reduction techniques by comparing the obtained results to the underlying smooth functions used to generate the data sets.

Analysing measured data has its own challenges involving unpredictable conditions and sys- tematic measurement errors. These factors introduce noise into the data, thereby complicat- ing analysis and possibly causing biased or incorrect conclusions. For many application, it can be considered useful to find a function to model the background process instead of using noisy measurements themselves. In mathematics and engineering, white noise is a widely used tool used to model effects of stochastic processes in measured data [3].

Smoothing algorithms reduce noise by smoothing the curve using various techniques. One way this can be accomplished is by calculating mean value of three consecutive points, thereby reducing noise by partly averaging out the noise.
One could consider smoothing or noise reduction in the frequency domain. As previously mentioned, this can be achieved by the use of Fourier transforms.
Noise filtering via Fourier transforms has seen numerous applications. Examples of such applications are canceling out electromagnetic conditions in radar measurements [5], echo suppression in audio processing [6], and 2D noise filter in image processing [7]. In the above, Fourier transform has proven to be functional and efficient tool for noise reduction.
