What is categorical perception and how does it demonstrate perceptual organization?

please answer in full sentences, indicating the question and the letter you are answering.
Question1:
a) What is categorical perception and how does it demonstrate perceptual organization?
b) Explain the study I ran that was described in class (ba-mba study) and explain how it relates to categorical perception.
Question 2:
a). One of the themes in this course is the notion of patterns. In one or two sentences, explain how olfactory receptor neurons relate to the notion of patterns. Then, identify a similar process in the visual system.
b). One of the themes in this course is transduction. All senses require transduction of some form of energy/input into electrical signals. Each sense has their own type of receptor(s) that accomplish(es) transduction. What are the hearing receptors called? What are the olfactory receptors called? List two differences between them (other than where they are found).
c). One of the themes in this course is maps. Most senses contain a map somewhere along their sensory pathways. What is the map in the olfactory sense called? What is the map in the auditory sense called? How is the map in the olfactory sense different from the ones found in the other senses (including hearing)? Name one other way that the olfactory sense differs from all the other senses.

Can technology be used to support efficiency and be paired with organizational behaviors that watch for and eliminate bias?

Throughout this course we have studying theories and applications of organizational behavior. We know that contemporary theorists are leaning towards autonomy, mastery, meaning and innovation in work tasks and work design. Each of you are organizational leaders or you will become organizational leaders. As an organizational leader, what organizational behavior will you facilitate in your organization and what will be the short- and long-term outcomes of the behaviors your foster? These are critical, high level leadership questions.
With this in mind, your final assignment in this course, will support the application of the culmination of theories, application stories and reflections that you have completed over the past few months.
For the Workplace Application Plan, you will select an Organizational Behavior Issue that may be one of the following topics (or you may brainstorm with your instructor if you want to select another topic):
Technology and Bias
Organizations are continually basing business operations on technology.
From a leadership perspective, is technology creating some efficiencies but also introducing avenues that support organizational behaviors or bias?
Can technology be used to support efficiency and be paired with organizational behaviors that watch for and eliminate bias?
Can technology be used to support autonomy, meaning and mastery?
Office Design and Productivity
Organizations are continually reflecting on office design (open space or closed space designs or face to face or remote communications) in support of desired organizational behaviors.
Can office design factors support or hinder desired organizational behaviors?
Can office design factors impact organizational behaviors such that autonomy, meaning and mastery can be supported?
Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility.
A significant, contemporary area of study in organizational behavior is exploring how corporate ethics and social responsibility can facilitate attracting, retaining and developing employees.
Can ethics and corporate social responsibility support recruitment, retention and talent? How?
Can ethics and corporate social responsibility support autonomy, mastery and meaning?
After selecting your topic, you will select a specific organization. For example, you will discuss Technology and Bias at Google or Office Design and Productivity at Google or Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility at Google. You may select any business, including your current organization.
Once you have identified your topic (Technology and Bias, Office Design and Productivity, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility) and your organization (any organization of your choice) you will complete an Organizational Behavior Workplace Application Plan.
The Workplace Application Plan Should Include:
The seven-page paper (minimum) should include the following:
Introduction
Discussing of organizational behavior topic and why this topic is important to study.
Discussion of the organization for application and why the selected topic is of relevance for this organization.
How is the organization currently addressing this topic? What gaps are present in the current plan?
Based on theory and literature from this course, how would you address your specific topic (Technology and Bias, Office Design and Productivity, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility) within the organization to foster behaviors that facilitates autonomy, mastery and meaning? Include:
At least one specific theory and theorist.
Include specific details of your application plan (application of theory).
Goals.
Measurements.
Communications.
Why is addressing your topic (Technology and Bias, Office Design and Productivity, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility) through this theory important for this organization’s viability.
Conclusion
References (At least three and can be from course content).
Paper must follow APA, seven pages minimum 12-point font double spaced.

What is the Beer Criteria and what is its significance in prescribing? This is a well-known list of medications for geriatric patients. This list identifies drugs with an increased likelihood of causing reactions in the geriatric population. It is important when prescribing medication because it helps to remind the practitioner to take special precautions when prescribing these medications (AGSBC, 2019).
What is the safest method of calculating a medication dose for the pediatric patient? Calculating a pediatric dose is safest using the patient’s body weight. The drug dose is based on the child’s surface area (Rosenthal & Burchum, 2021).
At what time period in a pregnancy can medication potentially have the greatest risk of causing malformations? The embryonic period (first trimester) is the period of time when the fetus is at greatest risk for malformations due to medication.
If your patient sometimes forgets to take her medication, what type of medication half-life would be beneficial? A medication with an extended half life is more beneficial because it stays in the system longer allowing the patient time to take the missed dose (Rosenthal & Burchum, 2021).
Your patient is on the highest daily dose of his medication and it is not giving him the desired effect. What type of metabolizer is he with this medication? If the patient is experiencing this it would seem they metabolize the drug at a faster rate than the average person. The drug is being eliminated too quickly and not allowing for a therapeutic window of benefit from the drug.
What food item interacts with many medications and should be asked about its ingestion, especially in the elderly?
One particular food that has been shown to adversely interact with medications is grapefruit juice. It has been shown to inhibit the metabolism of certain medications and therefore leads to elevated levels of unmetabolized drugs to stay in the bloodstream (Understanding Food and Medication Interactions, 2013).

Explain the watchmaker anaology. Explain how Paley is presenting a weak analogy as the world is not at all like a watch. Show the various ways that the analogy is not successful.
