Does the adaptation focus on the same sets of values or cultural paradigms? Does it portray certain characters differently? Is humor or social criticism conveyed in the adaptation in the same way as in the novel? What could be the reasons why the adaptation emphasizes certain parts of the novel over others or leaves them out completely? Are there political, cultural, or commercial reasons?

Is International diversification more effective for direct real estate than for stocks and REIT’s ? having a global selection of stocks, REIT’s and direct real estate. From 2007 – 2020.

General Topic: Direct Real Estate Performance

Data set: Commercial real price indices from Real Capital Analytics (RCA). https://www.rcanalytics.com/. Stock and REIT
data.

Research Question: Does a portfolio with direct real estate provide stronger diversification than portfolios of stocks and REITs?

Direct real estate is perceived as an asset class that is difficult to add to a portfolio (high transaction costs, low liquidity), but the diversification benefits could outweigh the costs. REITs have generally been used as a proxy for real estate, but research has shown REITs tend to correlate more to the stock market than one would expect from real estate. What can an allocation to direct real estate do for a portfolio? And what works better within a country, diversification over regions or over property types?
The estimation of direct real estate indices is a challenge on its own. Increased availability of transaction data however makes it possible to create an international set of direct real estate indices. Estimation of real estate indices is an optional addition to the research subject.

Methodologies:
Required: The jennrich test, test for differences in correlation matrices; constructing and comparison of efficient frontiers

1) In Cultures and Societies in a Changing World, Griswold conceptualizes cultural communities as territorial and relational. She also argues that various transmission mechanisms affect these spatial and relational arrangements in different ways. In a paragraph summarize the difference between territorial and relational communities. In a second paragraph, discuss how the different transmission mechanisms lead to different territorial and relational outcomes. Finally, in a third paragraph, apply Griswold’s arguments about cultural communities to the marketing and promotion of Jarrettsville in Under the Cover.

2) In Cultures and Societies in a Changing World, Griswold discusses culture and meaning from various theoretical perspectives. In a paragraph summarize the Marxist and Durkheimian approaches and understanding of meaning. In a second paragraph summarize the Weberian and Swidlerian “tool kit” approaches and understanding of meaning. Finally, in a third paragraph, using Griswold’s cultural diamond explain how the findings about book clubs in Under the Cover fill in the gaps left by these theoretical perspectives.

try to keep both questions around the same word count. (around 600 words per question)

Bible Scripture Observation

Answer the following 3 questions in order to record careful observations and impressions about Galatians 4:21-31. Use the template provided for you in the Assignment Instructions folder.

1. Chapter 4 Questions – Looking at the Whole Picture

Using Galatians 4:21-31, practice the 3 steps in observing the whole of a passage:

A. Read the passage with care. Read through Galatians 4:21-31 at least 5 times in one sitting.

B. Record your initial impressions. Reflecting on what you have read, record your general impression of the text. Then write 12–15 specific impressions of the passage.

C. Record the major facts. With your Bible open before you, begin answering the 4 key questions of who, what, where, and when. Make a list of observations based on these questions, thinking of 5–10 for each category.

2. Chapter 5 Questions – Looking at the Individual Parts

After you have studied the structural outline and principles of structure for Romans 8:35–39 and Galatians 5:16–26 (see the Additional Information folder), discover the structure of Galatians 4:21-31, make pertinent observations, and compose:

A. Write out the verses in a structural outline like the one used in this chapter as an example.

B. Mark the principles of structure in the chart provided. You may wish to print out a copy
of your structural outline so that you can mark it up with lines, circles, and squares, jotting down notes to yourself. You may then transfer these notations into the provided chart.

C. Finally, write a brief outline of the passage like the one provided in the textbook for
Galatians 5:16–26.

3. Chapter 6 Questions – Looking at the Fine Details

Here you will investigate some of the details of Galatians 4:21-31. Using the example of Colossians 1:24–29 (Diagram 2 in the Additional Information folder) and the list of details to look for from this chapter, complete the “who,” “what,” “where,” and “when” of Galatians 4:21-31. You must use the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Holman Illustrated Bible Handbook, and Holman Concise Bible Commentary in order to gather additional information for these answers. Each answer must be more detailed than the ones provided in the Chapter 4 questions

Academic Paper in APA Format

You and Claudia are nearing the end of your journey in this course, and it is time to put those newly acquired skills to work. For this paper, you will be required to create an academic paper in APA format, demonstrating reflective thinking. Click here to access the essay template for this assignment.
The elements below should be included in the essay.
Include an APA-formatted title page (refer to the essay template).
Include an introduction. The introduction to your paper should be one paragraph that states the overarching concept for your paper. The introduction is the first paragraph of the paper in which you will introduce readers to the three main topics in your paper: career goals, learning strategies for success, and time management. (This section should be a minimum of 50 words.)
Describe your career goals. What were your career goals when you first began this course? How have they changed? What future courses will you take that will help you reach your goals? What role will mentors play in your quest? (This section should be a minimum of 150 words.)
Make sure that you list the courses from your Degree Advisement Plan (DAP) and how they will assist your future career goals.
Identify your learning style. What is your learning style? How can awareness in this area impact your behaviors as a student? What can you do to improve? How can your family help support your study habits? (This section should be a minimum of 150 words.)
Include a paraphrased statement from your course textbook and/or a peer-reviewed article from the CSU Online Library to support your learning style and study methods. Make certain to include in-text citations.
Remember to place the reference (for the textbook and/or the peer-reviewed research article) in APA style on the references page.
Identify your time management techniques. When you first began this course, how well did you manage your time? What consumes most of your time on a daily basis now? Can adjustments be made in this area? What new strategies will you begin to incorporate in your educational experiences as well as your work and home environments to best balance all of your obligations? (This section should be a minimum of 150 words.)
Provide a conclusion. The last paragraph should summarize the body of your paper. It should reflect back to the introduction and briefly state how you will approach career goals, time management, and study methods. (This section should be at least 50 words.)
Include a references page.
On a separate page, list the reference(s) for your paper. You must use a minimum of one reference, which can be your textbook.
The heading “References” (or “Reference” if only one source is used) should be centered at the top of the page.
The references should be formatted according to the type of source. In other words, a book is formatted in a certain way, and an article is formatted in another way.
List the references in alphabetical order according to the first author’s last name. Apply double-spacing.
Each reference should be formatted with a hanging indentation.
Your paper must be a minimum of two pages in length. Make certain to double space, use 12-point Times New Roman font, and use one-inch margins for your paper.

Growth mindset

This is didactic, introspective assignment that will serve well not in this course but in your life as well.
Watch this brief TED talk by Eduardo Briceno
(Links to an external site.)
. After watching the video, answer the following.
Type in your answers as a numbered sequence as asked. Don’t type all the responses into single paragraph.
1. Describe 3 differences in the ways individuals with fixed and growth mindsets approach learning that were described by Briceno

2. Reflect on your own life:
Do you believe you generally view intelligence as fixed?
Describe some of your reactions to academic struggles. Assess the extent to which these reactions are employing a “fixed mindset voice.”
Propose some responses you could use that would help you to establish a growth mindset. If you prefer you can answer this question by thinking about someone you know well rather than yourself.

3. Propose a plan that would help college students rise up to meet the challenges they encounter in college by fostering a growth mindset. Create an action plan on how you will prepare to succeed in this course. Think of suitable steps you will take in case you do not perform well initially or during the semester.

4. Write your top 3 list: List the top 3 things you would like to remember about mindsets in order to be better your life and be successful.

Describe how each theory provides you with a new understanding of this experience.

This written assignment includes two parts:
1) Provide a written response relating to Week 1/Lecture 1 materials. Think of a specific memory from your childhood. Briefly describe the event or experience, then explain the experience through the lens of three different developmental theories (pick any from those we already discussed in the lecture). Describe how each theory provides you with a new understanding of this experience. Each explanation should be in a paragraph or two between 75-100 words, about 300-400 words total.
2) Provide a written response relating to Week 1/Lecture 2 materials. Define and describe, in your own words, what critical and sensitive periods are. Explain the role of neural plasticity in shaping an individual’s development. Use specific examples to support your answer. Please limit your responses to about 250-400 words total.

Please kindly make sure you answer all the questions carefully and in detail. Thank you so much. if you have any questions please ask me.

Choose two of the short stories we read to respond to the question below to answer in a well-supported and structured essay (4 paragraphs, most likely). Be sure that your thesis, usually located at the end of your introduction, clearly addresses the prompt.

Choose two of the short stories we read to respond to the question below to answer in a well-supported and structured essay (4 paragraphs, most likely). Be sure that your thesis, usually located at the end of your introduction, clearly addresses the prompt. In the introductory paragraph, indicate the works and authors of the works chosen. Be sure to put short story titles in quotation marks and do a quote and paraphrase from each of the texts you select at least twice: one paraphrase and one quotation per text (four total is the minimum.)
Support your thesis with paragraphs that have clear topic sentences and examples of both quotations and paraphrases from the text of the works. Be sure to introduce all quotations correctly (use one of three ways to introduce quotations) and do cite the author and the page number. If you use the author’s last name to introduce a quotation, you only need the page number after (if a page number exists). As this essay requires close textual analysis, do tie your points to specifics in the story. Every time you quote or paraphrase, you need to cite the author and page number directly after the information in a parenthesis: (Faulkner 2). If you use the author’s name to introduce the information, then all you need is the page number in the parenthesis, as in the following. If no page numbers are printed on the text, then you do not need page numbers.
Do use Times New Roman, size 12, and do double space. Please write in complete sentences and do not use “you” or contractions. You may use Critical Theory Today by Lois Tyson, the two short stories you choose, the grids you filled out for class, the quoting versus paraphrases sheet, the tips on in-class essay writing and the thesis, the psychoanalytic terms, and a dictionary and/or thesaurus. You may not work with other students and/or consult with anyone except the professor to answer questions about the essay. No other sources are allowed: use of them will result in an F for this essay, as will any other forms of academic dishonesty. You have until Sunday night at 11:59 pm to upload your essay to the link; the essay will be reviewed by Turnitin before I grade it. I have created some sample theses to help you, as well. Good luck! ********************************************************************************* Choose two of these works to respond to the question below: “The Rules of the Game,” “The Fortune Teller,” “A Rose for Emily,” or “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge.”
Choose two of the works to explore how the works are dreamlike and maybe addressing the unconscious issues of one of the characters in each text. Be sure to explain the symbols in the “dream” and what the “dream” is trying to tell the character (one of the possible themes of the short story).
Be sure to use one paraphrase and one quotation from each story to prove your points. In your conclusion, briefly discuss if you think dream analysis has validity in real life, being sure to support your response with examples gleaned from your own experiences and/or observations.
