Afrofuturism/African American Literature

I am preparing a research paper on Afrofuturism, and now I need to write one with primary readings: Rivers Solomon’s The Deep (2019) and Nnedi Okorafor’s Binti (2017). Please write a lit review that meets the requirements of the instruction file based on my research proposal and the secondary sources mentioned in my RP doc. If you have or want to use more suitable secondary sources of Afrofuturism related to the two primary readings. Please let me know. Below are the requirements:

-Give a brief introduction to the topic, your texts, outline of the keyword/argument

-Followed by a literature review of 3-4 key critics on your topic with bibliography

-You should aim, however, to read at least 6-8 criticisms (or more) before deciding on the most important ones

-Attach any notes you have taken showing the texts you have researched, your summaries, paraphrasing and quotes you found interesting (this part will not be marked but might be commented on)

-Word count of literature review (without notes): 600 words

Please see the instruction file for more detailed requirements and guidance.

Topic: Project Scope and WBS

Must be at least 150 words not including reference(s).
As the project manager of your Course Project:
What individuals would you have involved in the creation of the WBS, and why?
Could having more diverse group of individuals involved help with scope management? Explain how. (Remember, diversity isn’t just about race and culture. It is a broad concept.)

Keep in mind you are in the organizing and preparing phase of the project management life cycle.Topic: Project Scope and WBS

What are the research-based evidence pieces out there that various governments are implementing and adopting to facilitate such concerns? Are the measures currently taken sufficient? If yes, why, and if not, why not? What other policies would you like to suggest based on theory and global evidence?

Access to finance has been at the forefront of global attention for a long-time, and catastrophic event like COVID-19 has accelerated such concerns. Particularly financial access for marginalized populations and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) has been challenging.

Individual Project 3

The purpose of this assignment is to explore the horizon of America’s terrorism threat portfolio. Your assignment is not to merely identify and list organizations and movements that may engage in terrorist activities against the U.S. but also to demonstrate a deeper understanding, based upon research you conduct, of their history and their motivations. Based upon the research questions below, you are to write an analysis of 1,000–1,250 words that addresses the current and future foreign-borne terrorism threat portfolio of the United States. Include in your discussion an assessment of possible solution sets and techniques, based upon your analysis of the terrorist organizations you identify as the most threatening.

While forecasting future events is an inexact science, a professional intelligence analyst bases their conclusions on solid facts and sound principals of analysis. It is extremely important that you do the same in this assignment.

Assignment Guidelines

Address the following in an analysis document of 2-3 pages:
What are the primary motivations behind international terror organizations that continue to plan to or actively strike against Western nations? Explain.
Have these motivations changed over the past several decades? Have they changed since September 11, 2001? Explain.
Are the motivations realistic and achievable? Why or why not?
How would you characterize the level of threat to the United States posed by international terrorists? Explain.
Based on your research, do you feel that the threat is increasing or decreasing? Why?
What are the 3 primary terrorist organizations or movements that you believe pose the greatest threat to the United States? Why?
Should the United States engage in an active dialogue with terrorist organizations in an effort to seek a peaceful solution? Why or why not?
In what domains does the most effective solution for countering the terrorist challenge exist? Consider the following:
National defense (e.g., armed military conflict)
National security (e.g., intelligence and secret operations)
International diplomacy (e.g., the United Nations; regional nation-state organization support; and negotiating with nonstate organizations, including providing them with legitimacy)
Homeland security (e.g., securing the nation’s borders and domestic investigations)
Consider what the lack of a successful terrorist strike against the continental United States (CONUS) since 9/11 means to the current and near-term (5-year or less) threat horizon. Have overseas operations successfully countered the foreign-born terrorism threat? Explain.
Have robust domestic HS efforts deterred terror groups and individuals from trying? Why or why not?
Compile your responses in the final analysis document, and submit the file to your instructor.
Be sure to reference all sources using APA style.
Please submit your assignment.

The Future of Prosecution journal entry

In this journal entry, write a journal entry describing your ideal “future” for the role of prosecution in our criminal justice system. Be clear in your identification of your intended future role and in the two (2) issues or roles that you use to explain your position.

You read an abstract that you found for this week’s reading. What can you tell the class about the abstract? Is it in a style you would aim for when creating your own abstract? Does it have flaws? What would you change about the abstract you found?

Application paper- Dynamics of Personality

Students will write a paper regarding the application of a theory of personality
to the real-(or semi-real) world. For this paper, students should choose only
one theory and one application. Students should provide specific examples of
how the theory relates to the application that they have chosen and support
the examples with the textbook material when necessary. Students should
also critically evaluate the theory’s relation to the real-world application and
include this in the paper. For instance, students could write about how
Freud’s theory of the Oedipus complex relates to the movie Star Wars, the play
Hamlet; how Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development relates to Friends,
Pretty Little Liars, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Breaking Bad, or How I
Met Your Mother; how Adler’s birth order theory relates to Blackish, Modern
Family, or The Fosters; how Fromm’s freedom versus security challenges relate
to Catcher in the Rye, Game of Thrones, or the boxer Mike Tyson; how
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs relates to Walking Dead or The Glass Castle; or
how Freud’s defense mechanisms relate to Shrek, etc. Other popular shows
you might consider are Stranger Things, The Office, and Friends. For movies
and movies include Harry Potter, the Avengers franchise, and The Hunger
Games, Remember the Titans, The Blind Side, Rudy, Inventing Anna, Emily in
Paris, The Good Place. Remember, we are interested in your ability to critically
draw connections between theories of personality and the real-world. In order
to get ideas, think of books that you have read, plays or movies that you have
seen, music that you have heard, news stories you have seen, etc. Your paper
should be 4-5 typed pages long (double-spaced, 10 or 12 pt. font, one-inch
margins). We will be available should you need assistance. More specific
information and requirements will be given as the time approaches.

Why are middle school students not meeting the reading benchmark set by the state? What can we change?

*This assignment is very specific. I am going to share my topic and problem statement. This study will be conducted with teachers in my school. I cannot conduct a study with minors (no students). There are 5 chapters I will have to complete for this project, so I would like to work with the same person throughout the class.

A little background on myself… I am a middle school teacher at Prairie Lea ISD in Texas. I have teaching reading for two years and have noticed discrepancies when it comes to my students taking the reading benchmark. There are two benchmarks given to the students (fall and spring) before the STAAR test towards the end of the year. There has been a significantly decrease in scores from fall to spring. This is a problem that needs to be looked into further.

Problem Statement:

Why are middle school students not meeting the reading benchmark set by the state? What can we change?

Research question my study will answer:

Where is it falling short to not meet the bench mark? ( you can reword this)
