Week 10
PRINT
Language
Mike goes home and talks to Marla. She agrees with his plan. With a clear head, he sits down and takes his tests. Its not the best score hes ever had, but its enough to pass.
Mike picks Jacob up from the hospital. The doctors have not yet found the cause of his problems and plan on continuing their tests. As the doctors explain everything to him, Mike has difficulty understanding what they are saying. He guesses the meaning of some words because they sound like words he has heard elsewhere. Cranial refers to brain, right? Other terms dont make any sense at all.
However, the instructions on Jacobs care are clear. He and Marla can do this. After all, Jacob spent many years taking care of Mike, and all Jacob wants now is family.
As you read the materials this week, connect everything you have learned in the course. Why can Mike understand some words and not others? What might he do to prepare for future doctor visits?

Sexual Harrassment in a work work place

You picked a great topic! But you forgot to provide a definition for harassment. One that you get from an authoritative source. Can you please edit this? Then I will regrade this for you. Remember, you need to bring this back to ethics. So, how about changing a sentence or two to include ethical dilemma’s that you see within the workplace? Instead of just saying, “forms of inappropriate behaviors..” How about saying “It may be a gateway to unethical behavior.” Does that make sense? While it’s a good conclusion, it’s not the type of conclusion you need for this paper. You must direct it back to ethics. How about something like, “I will analyze the ethical dilemma of harassment within the workplace. I will discuss the ethical issues surrounding this workplace dilemma, and offer some solutions based upon ethical reasoning.
