So, in total, there will be 6 components to this exercise: a balanced equation (with explanation), explanation of the name and formula of the resulting compound, and calculation of the chemical conversion (again with explanation) for both reactions. Your submission should be typed (except for any hand-written calculations), and neatly organized. You are creating slides for a presentation that is being given to seek a research contract with Lego, the leading toy manufacturer. Considering the following aspects of your presentation (introduction, problem to be solved, market opportunity, technology,

The final term paper is to view one of the following movies and write about the leadership styles and traits exhibited by the characters (movies: Rudy, Gladiator, We Were Soldiers, Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, Remember the Titans, We Are Marshall, Lincoln, Coach Carter, Invictus, Band of Brothers, Gettysburg, Gods and Generals, Ghandi, Miracle, McFarland USA, Its a Wonderful Life, Men of Honor, Schindlers List, Seabiscuit. Other movies may certainly be used with approval of the professor).

The paper is to present and summarize the movie in the introductory paragraph, then expound on assessing the leaders (positive and dark), followers, and the situation (context). The leaders, followers, leadership styles, context, and other aspects covered in the course/text should be substantiated by class topics of leadership. This is not to be a review of the movie, but rather an in-depth analysis of the leaders, followers, and situation.

Go through each weeks topics and make sure to address topics. This may be the interviewees statements of topics, or your perception of the movies character traits and context. Present how the movie or interviewee displays leadership traits discussed in class, how their experiences heightened their leadership skills, how followers responded, and situations in which the leaders had to operate in. Make sure to tie content to class/text topics and cite all paraphrases & direct quotes: all papers should have numerous citations to the text (and any other sources) as to how topics relate to topics discussed in class or in the text.

In the Conclusion section, state who you identify with as a leader (or potential and developing leader) and the leadership traits, theories, and styles that you assess yourself as possessing, and why. Makes sure to cite the styles, etc.

Final papers are to be exhaustive, tying class topics to the paper. The final deliverable is to be in a Word document. As with all scholarly/professional submissions, a fully APA formatted paper is required (including cover page and reference page, abstract, and table of contents, as well as proper headings). Class topics are to be substantiated (referenced & cited) from the text, and/or other sources. An abstract is required. As scholarly/professional writing is to evidence- based, any submission with no substantiation will be graded a 0.

Review the AACN and the APNA resources related to mentorship and precepting, and consider the roles at your practicum site and see the similarities and differences. Further consider how the preceptors at your practicum site formally prepared or examine a standard of preparation. How are they prepared?

If you select social control, conduct a general search for articles or information that critically assess the use of the American prison system as a social control mechanism. Choose one prison and address the following:

Step 2
Create the presentation.
Using a presentation application (also referred to as slide ware) such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, organize and display the required information in a series of presentation slides (also referred to as a slide deck). Note that you are not required to present this project in a live setting; however, you should design these slides as if you were doing so. If you have never created a slide deck before or need some additional help, several resources and tutorial videos are available online. Conduct an Internet browser search for the slide application you are using (for example, Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Keynote) and the search term “tutorial.” Such a search will provide videos and websites that can assist you in creating the slides and using the application.
Design your slides with the following in mind:
The presentation title slide should be Social Groups and Social Control (depending on which topic you chose).
All slides should be contained in a single file.
Label each slide with the slide title and number.
Use clear, concise bullet points.
Presentations are primarily visual. Avoid including too much written information on your slides. You can include more detailed information in the written script portion of this project.
Images and diagrams are wonderful presentation tools to support your message.
At the end of the slide deck, include proper citations in APA style for the sources you used, which include images and diagrams (explore the Purdue OWL

website for examples). The source citation slide will not count toward your slide total.
Step 3
Write the presentation script.
Write the text of your script to correspond with each slide as though you were delivering a live presentation. You should write 1 to 2 paragraphs for each slide that expands on the information covered on that slide. The script should be written in a professional, yet conversational tone as if you were speaking to a live audience.
Write your script in the following manner:
Use headings that show the slide number and slide title to indicate the narration for each slide.
Use language intended for a live audience as opposed to a reader. Include language that helps your audience follow along, such as “I want to talk more in depth about.”
Use clear, concise sentences.
Use clear and relatable examples to help explain concepts.
At the end of the script document, include proper citations in APA style for the sources you used.
