The assignment isn′t to debate or argue whether climate change is happening or not. Despite this, the research will argue that climate change policies face many challenges (for example, most countries have agreed to achieve carbon neutrality in a specific year, but no one has discussed the cost and who will pay? In another example, carbon neutrality has become more of an accounting process.
This assignment does not aim to provide a scientific answer, but rather to discuss the challenges associated with climate change policies and how they are not realistic to some extent. The research will examine the following question:
How will political, economic, and technological factors affect the methods/policies used to achieve carbon neutrality?
What is/are the central issue-s/problem-s addressed in the readings and online discussions?
For this course, I am required to compose a reflective paper on the module readings from my class. It shouldn’t be a SUMMARY of what I’ve read, but more so an indepth analaysi of the issues discussed within the readings. Please see the directions from my professor below:
Directions: Your reflective papers are evaluated according to the effectiveness, insights, and in-depth analysis used to discuss the issues covered during the week in the readings and course discussions. Students are expected to make connections to educational leadership and/or role of educational leaders in addressing the educational issues discussed in the weekly topic. In fact, making connections to educational leadership is a common expectation for all assignments in this class.
To ensure each area is addressed, students would want to organize their papers at least for the following areas. While a required a full paper may also include an Abstract and finish with a Conclusions section, the reflections should be must address the following questions/areas:
What is/are the central issue-s/problem-s addressed in the readings and online discussions?
What is the specific value (or lack thereof) of addressing this issue in comparative literature to the field of education?
I have attached the course textbook below. This week’s readings were focused on Chapters 1-4 (you do not have to discuss all). I would highlight some important things learned from the chapters and reflect on how it connects to educational leadership. Use the two discussion questions to help the guide the paper as well. You may use other outside sources to support your thinking.

Research a topic from the book (see individual chapters) that interests you. Gather at least 5 recent articles from external sources in addition to the book and write a paper on your topic. Choose current events to discuss your points. There may be a current issue that you would like to research and tie to what was learned this semester, that is what I want. All statements should be grounded in theory – not your opinion unless it can be justified with theory. The due date is on Friday of that week (not the usual Sunday). Use APA guidelines and the grading rubric found in the Start Here folder. There is not a minimum word or page requirement, but with 5 sources, it should be around 7-10 content pages with a reference section.
