Research a favorite leader, celebrity, professional athlete, etc. who also has set up a foundation or project for social good.
Discuss the individual chosen, the social good, and whether you believe this example displays genuine integrity or image management. Defend your position
With so many different definitions of leadership, how do you define leadership? What components are critical to include in your definition and why? Which conceptualization of leadership most appeals to you? Why? Which conceptualization of leadership least appeals to you? Why? Do you believe people are “called” to be leaders? Why or why not?
What trait would you say is the most important for a leader? The least important? Why? Can determination be learned? Why or why not? Regarding integrity, where is the line between being open and candid and limiting what one should disclose to others? Explain.

Using Jupyter Notebook: Segmentation and Targeting
Using Jupyter Notebook
Segmentation and Targeting (25 points): After a very rough period over the couple years, Disney is hoping to bring more families back to its parks.
Here’s where your team can be a huge help to the company: Disney recently reached out to a large data aggregation company to obtain information about households that might but the park doesn’t know how to begin analyzing it. The dataset is named family_segments.csv. There’s a lot of data here, though! There are more than 9000 observations in the file. Disney is hoping that your team can help them to separate this huge group of people into distinct clusters, and then figure out how to reach out to each of these groups from a marketing perspective.
You may wish to use either k-means or hierarchical clustering for this task. To perform the actual clustering, use only your numeric variables (but when you analyze your clusters, you can include observations about the categorical factors).
Once you have built your clustering model, use anywhere from 4-6 visualizations that help to communicate information about your model. The visualizations should depict information about your clusters that you can clearly explain, and that park management can understand. So stay away from things like PCA and t-SNE!
Name each one of your clusters, and include a few sentences describing/explaining the name that you chose for each cluster.
Finally, for each of your clusters, talk about targeting. In a couple of sentences per group, how should park management reach each of these segments?
Use markdown cells for the cluster names and the targeting section. Also, use a markdown cell to describe the process that you used for arriving at the number of clusters for your model.

Summarize your observations and interview, focusing on authentic assessment and how the data from those assessments were used to plan, modify, or differentiate instruction.
Authentic assessment is the process of assessing what children know and can do in their most natural environments. Because science focuses heavily on processes, the presence of certain indicators helps teachers gauge students’ mastery of scientific processes (i.e., a student that selects a measuring cup to determine how much water is in a particular container has indicated that he or she is able to perform one aspect of the measuring process).
discuss with your teacher the use of authentic assessments and the data gathered from them, including pre-assessments, formal and informal formative assessments, and summative assessments, and how he or she uses that data to plan, modify, or differentiate instruction.
Summarize your observations and interview, focusing on authentic assessment and how the data from those assessments were used to plan, modify, or differentiate instruction. Discuss how you plan to apply this to your future professional practice.

Write e response :Despite having a positive reputation for the admirable work that nurse practitioners perform to advance the health and wellness of communities, the nursing profession has a pervasive bullying culture. It refers to any undesired and unpleasant behavior intended to
offend or degrade another person. Bullying of nurses is a very severe issue that endangers patient and nurse safety as well as the
reputation of the nursing profession (Weiss & Tappen, 2015). Unrealistic criticism from other professionals is one of the most prevalent
indications of bullying that most nurses, particularly novices, encounter. This manifestation of bullying is when a nurse minimizes the
opinions and sentiments of another nurse, maybe in a group discussion or on the unit (Weiss & Tappen, 2015). The mistreated nurse’s
confidence and morale are damaged by this excessive criticism. The quiet treatment of a victim of bullying at work is another typical
indicator of the behavior. This kind of bullying involves a nurse ignoring another nurse whenever the latter requests assistance. This
tendency often shows itself when two competitor nurses are employed in the same division or unit. Isolation bullying is a different kind of bullying in which the victim is excluded from organizational activities like meetings, endorsements, or social gatherings. The victimized
nurse can thus come to feel unimportant and unwelcome in the workplace, which might ultimately end in resignation. Other prevalent
workplace bullying actions include impatience, sabotage, ostracizing, screaming, and public humiliation (Weiss and Tappen, 2015). An
employee’s career may be negatively impacted by workplace stress since it reduces productivity and working hours. In fact, the
complexity of the workplace poses a number of stressors that, if not controlled, might cause workplace stress (Funnell et al., 2009).
Physical demands, the nature of caring, and the challenge of juggling work and home responsibilities are just a few common stresses.
Long work hours, unpredictable shifts, and loud workplaces are all physical stresses. Giving care may be emotionally taxing, particularly if a nurse is exposed to traumatic events at work. Taking care of someone who is dying is an example of a challenging scenario.
Furthermore, the demanding nature of nursing may lead to stress, particularly when a nurse strives to fulfill her professional obligations
without jeopardizing her position as a mother and maybe the family’s primary provider (Funnell et al., 2009). Talking about their concerns
is one method nurses may utilize to manage their personal and professional stress. Even if talking to a friend, spouse, or coworker won’t
always result in a solution, it will help you identify the stresses, which will subsequently help you handle the problems (Funnell,
Koutoukidis & Lawrence, 2009). Regular exercise after work might also aid a nurse in lowering stress at work. It is crucial that nurses seek
professional support from counselors and other community services when occupational stresses become intolerable (Funnell et al.,
2009).

Problems working with others in the workplace
Nursing is a profession dedicated to helping others but later painted with vices such as incivility, bullying, and violence. Bullying in nursing can occur in many forms, including where some staff act as supernurses, others as cliquish nurses, and two-faced nurses. The first type
refers to more experienced nurses who intimidate less experienced nurses by showing a belittling attitude or uttering condescending
comments. I have never had a direct experience with such nurses but I have heard from many of my friends that they have felt intimidated by their co-workers. The idea of cliquish nurses at the workplace describes nurses who group themselves and create a competition sort
of interaction, where groups are always comparing us versus them. Two-faced nurses are those that create fake alliances to collect
information as a weapon in their defense. I once worked in an acute care environment and there was a group of nurses that just hated
new staff. They would always show up at the unit and want to take on duties assigned to the new staff. Worse still, they would come by
and watch condescendingly as you perform tasks just to make you feel bad or as though you were doing the wrong thing even when
everything was in order.
Common signs of Bullying
The objective of nurses who bully is to undermine the self-confidence of their coworkers by imposing bullying tactics that have harmful
intent. Bullying in nursing is demonstrated through different actions. Condescending tone and demeanor (Johnson & Benham‐Hutchins,
2020). Silent treatment, yelling, impatience, public belittling sabotaging, and ostracizing are common signs of bullying in nursing.
Common Stressors and Strategies to manage Personal and Professional Stress
Healthcare organizations should not tolerate any kind of bullying. Leaders and administrators can forge an atmosphere and culture of
respect to prevent and mitigate incivility, bullying, or an escalation to violence. Aggressive or hostile nurses should be punished or fired
for their disruptive attitude. A nurse’s job is hard enough without having to worry about being bullied. Abusive and disruptive habits can
stop effective communication and collaboration among nurses, which may affect patient outcomes. New nurses should not be afraid to
ask questions. Established nurses must remember their commitment to providing quality patient care and learn to take pride in aiding the next generation of nurses. Common stressors such as inadequate staffing should be addressed by employing adequate staff.

Describe as accurately as you can Descartes’ “conceivability argument” to show that he is not identical to his body?
Answer any six of the questions presented
below. Each answer should be approximately 300-400 words in length,
although some can be longer, others a little shorter, depending on the question
you are answering. Answers must all be written in your own words. Do not
copy material.
1)
Describe as accurately as you can Descartes’ “conceivability argument” to
show that he is not identical to his body? What appears to be the main weakness
of this argument? (If you think it is a strong argument, then defend your view
by argument.)
2)
According to the identity theory of mind, mental states are identical to
brain states. What are the most important objections against the identity
theory? (Describe at least three.) How convincing are they? Defend your
assessment by argument.
3)
Explain as clearly as you can philosopher John Searle’s “Chinese Room”
objection against Turing’s Test of consciousness and the functionalist account
of mind in general. Does Searle’s thought experiment refute them? Why or why
not?
4)
Describe as accurately as you can John Locke’s theory of personal
identity. How adequate or satisfactory is it as an account of personal
identity?
5)
Describe as accurately as you can what is called the “narrative account”
of personal identity. How plausible is it? Support your view by argument.
6)
Some researchers in cognitive science have argued
that there is now “experimental” evidence (the button-pushing experiment described in the slides on free will) to show that we don’t have free will, and
that our sense of free will is just an illusion. Briefly, but clearly, describe
this experiment and then discuss whether it does refute belief in free will.
7)
Explain in detail why some philosophers, such as
David Hume, for example, believe that free will and determinism are actually compatible. How plausible is this view?
8) Assuming for the sake of argument that there are
many intelligent life forms elsewhere in the universe, how likely do you think
it would be that their thought or beliefs about the world would be similar
enough to ours that communication and understanding would be possible? Support
your view by argument as best you can.
