Assume that the Russian-Ukraine war had ended. Russia
withdrew its troops and pledged not to return.
Your challenge is to build a business in Ukraine that
will help rebuild the economy. The UN will subsidize businesses for capital
costs and one year of operations if:
The
business provides basic human needs in immediate-postwar Ukraine;
There
is a path to ownership by local Ukrainians; and
The
business is likely to be profitable.
Write an essay that describes a business you would
propose that would comply with the UN requirements for being awarded the
subsidy.

Post your thoughts on what it means to understand the children in your classroom. Include your ideas on each of the following points:
What are the benefits of knowing information about the children in your class related to their culture, their socioeconomic status, whether they are learning English, and their ability levels?
What is the best way to identify levels of readiness in learning (physical, social, emotional, moral, and cognitive domains)? How can development in any one domain affect performance in others?
How can knowing this kind of information lead you to have expectations for that child?
Give an example of how you might make an inaccurate assumption based on your knowledge of that child. Does every child in each category exhibit the same characteristics?

During this course’s coverage of sorting and searching algorithms, you may have noticed that there are many more algorithms available than were used in this course. In this discussion you will explore other advanced algorithms that are available to software developers.

Discuss an algorithm that can be implemented in the Java language that was not covered in this course. Note that your textbook includes some, and the learning materials used in various Units of this course also point directly towards sources that include many more algorithms.
In your main post, provide the name of the algorithm and a link to a source where more can be learned about it. Explain in 1-2 short paragraphs how it works and include (if applicable) its algorithmic efficiency rating (Big O). The algorithm does not have to be for sorting or searching but be sure to explain what it is commonly used for. You are a nurse in a Third World country in a small village of 150 people (adults and children – roughly equal in numbers). There is an outbreak of a deadly infection which is easily treated with a specific antibiotic. Untreated, the mortality rate is close to 100%. As you have learned throughout this course, discretion is a major factor in the decision-making process in criminal justice. Discretionary decisions are made and influenced by various factors in the field, both internally and externally, which can make discretion a highly controversial concept. For this discussion, we will explore influential internal and external discretionary factors.
In your initial post, explain one internal factor and one external factor that affect discretionary decision making. Why did you select these factors as being influential? Can you provide one example you have seen in public or in the media of each of these factors impacting discretionary decision making?
