Persuasive essay – cohesive argument for change to reduce/combat obesity in your community

— The academic essay assignment in this unit will be a written, cohesive argument for the change in your community that you have been writing about throughout the course. The assignment should take the form of a persuasive academic essay, in which you will provide evidence from at least four credible sources to support the argument for change that you are advocating.

— You will also need to address rival hypotheses or misconceptions about your topic within the essay, as the ability to do so is a key component of a strong argument. Essentially, the essay will reflect what you have learned about writing effectively, using research, and creating a logical argument to influence an audience.

Your persuasive essay will need to meet the following criteria:
APA formatting for the document, including an appropriately formatted title page and references page
A thesis statement at the end of the introduction paragraph
An introduction paragraph that establishes the issue
Well-developed paragraphs that include evidence from sources to support your argument for a specific change in your community
Effective transitions between and within paragraphs
A conclusion paragraph that brings the essay to an effective close
Four credible sources appropriate for academic writing should be cited within the text of the essay; at least one of the cited sources should be either a book/ebook or a periodical article, preferably from the Purdue Global Library
All cited sources need to have full citations on a references page (except for any interviews you conduct, which only require in-text citations)
Standard English and a formal tone throughout the writing (e.g., stay in third-person voice, avoid slang, etc.)
A strong and well-supported argument will be at least 3–4 pages, not including the title page and references page

Students will be asked to research and report on food and dishes of regional cuisine in the
final assignment.
You must select key dishes and ingredients from this region and consider how they differ or
are similar to other regional cuisines in that particular country or region.
The report should include geographical, historical, political, religious and cultural aspects of
the region and country being covered in connection with the food, dishes or ingredients.
Please be advised that this is an academic paper and that the César Ritz Style Guide must
be followed.
The report must be fully referenced according to the Harvard convention, and that copyright
must be observed for all illustrations, graphs, photographs or recipes.

This order will have two parts, excel and word（3 questions in “S2022AssignmentPart1_Questions）, please upload them separately (according to the requirements in the “Requirements” doc)
Part 1 of the Assignment it to be completed individually. In Part 1 you will complete three questions that look at asset return and risk, mean-variance optimisation and asset pricing models. Computations are to be done in EXCEL, but the solutions are to be pasted into Word and formatted for submission. You need to provide explanations and discussion in your own words of your work and answers. Please note that it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with Excel, although certain examples will be illustrated in class, Excel is not taught as part of this subject.

A softcopy of the assignment must be submitted online on Canvas by 5.00pm Friday 16th September 2022. Late submissions will not be accepted. Your Assignment will only be marked if you attach the cover sheet below to the front of your Assignment and write your student number, name and sign the cover sheet.

Part 1 of the Assignment is designed to mimic actual tasks of an equity portfolio/fund manager. Therefore, real market data from the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is used. General comments will be posted on Canvas after the Assignments have been marked, typically within two weeks of the submission date, to address issues that are common to most of the submitted Assignments. Individual comments will be written on each of the submitted assignments.

For this Professional Experience, you will practice a professional recording for the presentation narration outline you created in the Week 7 assignment. This is an audio recording in PowerPoint that is integrated and saved in a PowerPoint PPT file. See the following resources for using PowerPoint. The purpose of this assignment is for you to become familiar with the record audio technology in PowerPoint, and to practice your speaking skills to record audio narration.
