Your Final Exam Essay Topics The Challenge: Dr. Tia Kolbaba of Rutgers University offers the following challenge to students in her religion and globalisation course: “Everywhere you look, religions—and religious controversies—are shaping our world. A powerful source of beliefs, moral claims, and cultural practices, religions profoundly influence our contemporary world. For some, religion is held up as the key solution to various social ills such as poverty and racial tension. For others, religion is a major part of the problem. Religion generates critiques of inequality and capitalism while others invoke it to celebrate the free market and individual wealth. And, religious concerns shape views on policy issues as diverse as samesex marriage, climate change, and government-sponsored healthcare. From challenges to evolution to debates on stem-cell research, religions juxtapose faith and modern science. Religions likewise factor prominently in various military conflicts around the globe and in the long-running debates over the proper relationship between religion and the state.” This essay asks you to consider Dr. Kolbaba’s assessment and to reflect on the problems and solutions associated with religion in the 21st century using the following topic : Topic 2 Religion and Violence These two articles take opposing views about the role of religion in global violence. Which argument would you claim is the better approach/more convincing and why? Responding to invitation

Dear sir/Madam
I am writing this letter in response to your invitation to share an important and hard decision that changed my everyday life. I had to find and apartment to move on and get on with new people.
Firstly, let me explain how all of this happened and what ended up doing. I applied in university for course in law. The issue was that, all the apartments here were expensive to live by your own. I was very worried about having to deal with high prices and what if I end up not going to the university. At this time ,I heard from an old friend Greg, I thought it would be a good idea to ask if he is interested to one more flatmate. Gladly it was a good idea and he agreed to help me and move in with them.
The consequences of my decision surprised me a lot in a good way, I was kind of worried because I knew Greg was a introvert type of person and I am an extrovert so I was scared of not getting along with him. I was wrong we had a great influence to each other also I had a lot of fun with the other flatmates. My everyday life had changed a lot but in a very good way .
By living with Greg and the other flatmates I have learned a lot of things. I will always be thankful to Greg for beeing by my side at such a hard time in my life , helping me complete my university dream and have a great time with him and new people. This decisions I have made is very meaningful to me.
Yours faithfully,
Kelly Xhelo.
