In both Shakespeare and the religious poets (Donne and Herbert), what views do the poets express regarding the nature of true love/faith?

Your final assignment is an essay responding to ONE of the following prompts. Below are two prompts. Pick ONE ONLY and write according to the below guidelines.
850 Word Minimum
Times New Roman
12 pt. Font

Prompt 1: In both Shakespeare and the religious poets (Donne and Herbert), what views do the poets express regarding the nature of true love/faith? Compare Shakespeare and ONE of the religious poets we read. These poets take a very real, and serious analysis of their subject matter. What tools (metaphor, simile, imagery, etc.) do they use to illustrate their point? How are these poems still relevant today?

Prompt 2: What did we discuss is the “plight of modern man”? Do you agree or disagree with this assessment? I encourage you to pull from your own worldview and give personal examples and/or observations that you may have.

Where Do We Go from Here?

As we wrap up our time together, consider all you have learned. Then answer this question: How will the content from this class change the way you handle conflict and engage with others in difficult situations?
Post a thread that synthesizes your answer to this question using the following:
3 “lessons learned” from the authors and speakers you’ve engaged this term.
3 corresponding conflict strategies that reflect the
practical expression of these lessons. You should be able to apply these
strategies to how you’ll handle conflict in everyday life (personal
and/or professional).
One guiding biblical truth that’s impacted you during this course. Explain its significance.

Qtn#1- Evidence Based Management _Critical Analysis essay based on analysis of 3 Assigned Readings – CALRAP Week#7

Critical analytical essay based on analysis of 3 assigned readings

The 3 readings are attached

There are 2 sample CALRAP papers to give you an idea of what proof is expecting in critical analysis

“Evidence
Based Management” is the underlying rationale for the application of business
analytics within business organizations. Pretend that you have been hired as a
consultant to a mid-sized business (say 1,000 employees) that has limited
experience with business analytics.

Prepare a 1-2-page memo for the senior
leadership team that:
(a) explains to them what is meant by the term “Evidence Based Management” and
why they should consider adopting this approach; and
(b) advises them on what they will need to do to create a culture and practices
of evidence based management across the organization.
Support your answer with explicit references (cite or footnote) to the lessons
and examples contained within the course materials.

Understanding and Coping with Change

Write an APA formatted paper (excluding the title
and reference pages), using a minimum of three scholarly sources in
addition to the textbook, analyzing the internal and external factors
contributing to an individual’s resistance to change.
Describe a situation where you or someone you know was resistant to change as identified in one of following areas:
Self-interest
Lack of understanding
Lack of trust in management
Differing assessments of the need for change
Low tolerance for change
Explain whether the resistance to change was caused by an internal or
external factor. Using Kotter’s theory for change, provide a plan for
overcoming that resistance. What will be done and how will you know that
the plan has worked?

The assignment requires you to provide an example that will serve as the
base/foundation of your paper. Therefore, you should be setting the tone
with your paper using your example. Again, definitions are not needed,
but the application of the theories and concepts to your example. I
should not see any example towards the middle or end of your paper, it
should be towards the beginning. Give specific details, make sure your
example is clear, and address the assignment topic.

Make sure your example shows resistance to change, what, who, why, and
how. What I have seen in the past is a description of something changing
but no details on any resistance from those impacted by the change and
why there was resistance. It is important to do both shows a change that
happens and how people resisted that change (points are deducted if
both are not present). Please be complete and focus on the topic.

The assignment itself: you need to describe a situation (real example
and you only need 1, change names if necessary) where you or someone was
resistant to change. Identify what the resistance was using one of the 5
area lists above. You do not need to describe all 5 areas. Choose 1
(note it says one in the description) but if you find that more than 1
fits your example, feel free to incorporate it into your paper. Make
sure you apply each one that fits. Only discussing one will get points
deducted if you indicate more than 1 area. I highly recommend you stick
to 1.

says to choose 1 area, so you give 1 example to be used throughout the entire paper.
Using
your example, explain whether the resistance was caused by an internal
or external factor. You need to explain the factor that causes
resistance. For example, an internal reason could be caused by a shift
in leadership. The external factor could be an economic change. Support
your reasons with research but state whether it is internal or external.
You may find that both factors contributed to the resistance, feel free
to give both factors with support.
The last portion states
using Kotter’s theory to provide a plan to overcome the resistance that
you noted in your example. That means you must take Kotter’s theory (no
other change management theories should be used, use Kotter) and develop
a step-by-step plan. To phrase it another way, you want to explain
Kotter’s theory and apply each step to your example to develop a plan.
What will be done and explain how you know the plan has worked. This
last piece is the piece that many forget. Please make sure you address
how you know the plan has worked. What can you do to ensure the plan
you developed has worked or is working to overcome the resistance? If
you do not develop a plan, you are not completing the assignment.
What some forget to do is do what the assignment is
asking you to do. Some give what the organization did but what
the organization did may not match the elements of the assignment. For
example, your organization may not have used Kotter’s theory but
something else. I do not want something else, I want to see you use
Kotter’s theory to develop a plan. I need to see your ability to put
together a plan based on a theory. The rubric says to use Kotter’s theory and not what your
organization decided to use. You will lose points if you do not include
the elements of the assignment.

Must included attached reference, listed as such: Baack, D. (2017). Organizational behavior (2nd ed.). Zovio.

Vocational Developmental Plan

Vocational Development Plan – Students will complete a personal vocational development plan which examines what type of work they are interested in and why. This paper will be partially research based and partially reflective in nature. You will discuss what type of work you see yourself doing, why you are drawn to this aspect of human services, what strengths/skills do you think you have to offer, what aspects might be challenging for you (in particular focusing on any ethical considerations), what qualifications you will need, potential salary, and what type of agency might offer this type of work.

I am interested in being a mental health threapist. Some reasons I am drawn to this work are, I am caring, always wanting to help people, and I am intrested in how the mind works. I would not have ethical problems but I could find hearing about trauma influencing situations hard.

Social and economic problems in media

Spend some time looking at news websites, reading articles that catch your attention. What are three social or economic problems you notice? In at least 3 sentences, list three possible causes and/or effects for each problem. (You should name the 3 specific problems). Therefore, you should write at least 9 sentences total for your initial post. You should select three different resources for the three problems/issues you will be writing about in terms of causes and/or effects.

Incorporate in your initial post your knowledge and understanding of Cause and Effect based on your reading of the assigned texts related to this topic.

Provide the website links for your three research resources. Use credible references. Avail of your critical thinking skills in choosing reliable, unbiased, and scholarly resources.

Impact of Climate Change on Food Security

Week 6 Assignment – The Impact of Climate Change on Food Security
Overview
The United Nations (UN) has hired you as a consultant, and your task is to assess the impact that global warming is expected to have on population growth and the ability of societies in the developing world to ensure the adequate security of their food supplies.
Case Assessment
As the world’s population nears 10 billion by 2050, the effects of global warming are stripping some natural resources from the environment. As they diminish in number, developing countries will face mounting obstacles to improving the livelihoods of their citizens and stabilizing their access to enough food. The reason these governments are struggling even now is that our climate influences their economic health and the consequent diminishing living standards of their peoples. Climate changes are responsible for the current loss of biodiversity as well as the physical access to some critical farming regions. As such, these changes in global weather patterns diminish agricultural output and the distribution of food to local and international markets. These difficulties will become even more significant for these countries as the Earth’s climate changes for the worse. Temperatures are already increasing incrementally, and polar ice caps are melting, so the salient question is: what does this suggest for developing societies?
The issue before the developing world is not its lack of food, but rather how to gain access to food. Simply put, changes in our climate are affecting the global food chain, and hence, the living standards of entire populations. Added to this is the fact that food is not getting to where it is needed in time to prevent hunger or starvation. In many developing countries, shortages are due to governments’ control over distribution networks rather than an insufficient supply of food itself. In effect, these governments are weaponizing food by favoring certain ethnic or religious groups over others. When added to dramatic climate changes that we are experiencing even now, the future for billions of poor people looks increasingly dim.
You are to write a minimum of a 5 page persuasive paper for the UN that addresses the following questions about the relationship between atmospheric weather patterns and food security in the developing world:
Climate change and global warming are often used interchangeably, but they are not the same phenomenon. What are the differences between the two concepts and what leads to the confusion between them?
In 1900, the average global temperature was about 13.7° Celsius (56.7° Fahrenheit) (Osborn, 2021), but as of 2020, the temperature has risen another 1.2°C to 14.9°C (58.9°F). According to the Earth and climate science community, if the Earth’s surface temperature rises another 2°C (3.6°F), we will suffer catastrophic weather patterns that, among other things, will raise sea levels, cause widespread droughts and wildfires, result in plant, insect, and animal extinctions, and reduce agricultural productivity throughout the world (Mastroianni, 2015 and Lindsey & Dahlman, 2020). How much credibility do you place in these projections? Why?
There is no question that the Earth’s food sources are threatened by changes in its weather patterns, but what specific challenges does climate change pose to the food security of people in the developing world?
There is currently a debate among some multinational lending agencies like the International Monetary Fund, UNICEF, and AID over the financial support for food security has been misused by recipient government officials. On the other hand, U.S. authorities insist that misuse of its assistance is not occurring because it has strict monitoring oversight in place. What is your position on this matter? Is there evidence that financial assistance to developing governments is being widely misused by government officials?
Guidelines
This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). For assistance and information, please refer to the SWS link in the left-hand menu of your course and check with your professor for any additional instructions.
In order to earn full credit, your paper must be divided into at least four full pages of content (one page to address each of the four questions above), and include at least a one-half page introduction and a one-half page conclusion – making a minimum total of five full pages of text.
You must use at least seven credible sources (excluding Wikipedia, dictionaries, and encyclopedias) that are appropriate for the subjects under discussion.
You must use only double-spacing and not place extra spacing between paragraphs or section headings.
The specific course learning outcome associated with this assignment is as follows:
Evaluate the impacts that climate changes are having on the growth of global populations and the security of their food sources.
