You are the new HR leader for a small manufacturing firm located in the Midwest. Part 1 – Explain your reasoning for the purpose of the job analysis and the relationship to individual needs and corporate strategy. Evaluate why it is important to perform a job analysis for the positions within the organization.
Part 2 – Describe an analysis tool that would be most appropriate for this particular position. Explain the reasoning for your selection and your desired outcomes. Indicate the type of information that will be delivered via the analysis tool.
Part 3 – Identify specific external resources available to HR and explain how they will be used to provide occupational data and descriptors.
Part 4 – Summarize the assumed data to be defined during the job analysis. Explain why the content is important to job design and performance evaluation.

Part 1 – Create a job description for the organization based on the proposed data delivered in Section 1. Specifically identify each section of the job description.
In addition, defend the importance of each to the selection process. This should be a description of the template, not a job description for a specific job.
Part 2 – Explain how the required employment and labor laws, Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ), America with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), are incorporated into the job description. Evaluate how the organization will account for the deployment of these laws.
Part 3 – Explain why the chosen design is appropriate for the organization based on your research.
Section 3 – Performance Appraisal: (Three to four pages and two credible and professional resources, in addition to the course textbooks).
Part 1 – Explain the purpose and intended outcomes of a performance appraisal. Evaluate the proposed job description (Section 2) and describe how the elements of the job description will be measured.
Part 2 – Develop a performance appraisal using the measurable actions defined within the job description.
Part 3 – Explore the challenges and opportunities that a performance appraisal adds to the overall job analysis and design process.
Section 4 – Summary
Provide an overall summary of the proposed structure for the staffing review as requested by the owner of the organization. Briefly describe each section of the plan.

In this module, you’ve explored the concept of defamation and the many ways it is applied to protect reputations, as well as how libel can cause emotional (and sometimes even physical) distress. In this discussion, you will further analyze the landmark case New York Times Co. v. ” I believe that the court made different standards for public versus private individuals because they function in different roles in society. As an individual, I don’t have the reach that someone who is considered a public figure does. I think this is a tricky area. On one front no one is excused for defamation no matter their reach. On the same front, if a company didn’t have the greater burden to prove, they could potentially take anyone who ever expressed a dislike towards them to court which could be seen as an infringement of their First Amendment right of free speech (Lubin Austermuehle, 2022). The question that should be asked is, just because someone expressed a dislike for said public figure, does it count as actual defamation? For this reason, I think it is fair for public figures be subject to proving the greater burden as plaintiff, to create a balance and safety for the individual. I don’t know that I would reconsider this case, but I would definitely say that these types of cases need a very clear definition for what is allowed versus what is not. The problem you run into is the individuality of every case and the ever-changing way they are approached based on the channel used. I think the laws concerning what defamation can be considered should be looked over and updated to include new manners of communication, but that doesn’t mean a public figure should carry any less of the burden of proof. A person who made the decision to run and work in a public office should know that they are more likely to face different options and dislike. The First Amendment was put in place so that people could express their dislike and lack of satisfaction at the government without fear of repercussion. I think that media companies walk a fine line between allowing the discussion of dislike of a public figure while making sure it does not cross boundaries into physical threats or other areas of defamation that can be pursued.”

This week, we are learning and thinking about the ways most regions of the world have been colonized by European powers, and how a colonial global economy is still at play today.
Some of the more obvious legacies of colonialism on colonized regions include the changes to (or decimation of) social structures, language, cultural and religious traditions. Other consequences also include economic underdevelopment and dependency, political disenfranchisement, ethnic divisions which remain to this day, but some argue that governance and things like physical infrastructures benefitted some colonised regions.
