Discuss what tasks could you delegate to the UAPs?
The LPN working on the unit is a new graduate and has been employed for only 4 weeks. How would you collaborate with this nurse when delegating tasks for completion?
Discuss how you will maintain the safety of the other clients on your unit while three nurses are occupied with the client requiring resuscitation?
Explain how might effective delegation to other team members contribute to care of the clients on the unit? (Remember, this is not a question about the patient that is coded, but how you will handle the unit while you are short staffed).

Describe legal considerations for questioning job applicants.

Legal Considerations and Structured and Unstructured Job Application Questions

The following items are required in the body of your essay:
Describe legal considerations for questioning job applicants.
In this section, discuss the kinds of information that can be sought legally concerning applicants and what information should not be solicited from applicants. Consider both federal guidelines and the guidelines of your state. Also, discuss the kinds of information for which applicant permission must be sought before it can be accessed. This will be the longest, most detailed section of this assignment. Call this section Legal Considerations.
List the questions that you would ask the candidates.
You are designing a structured interview in which all candidates will be asked the same questions. You will have approximately 45 minutes with each candidate. Develop a list of 20 questions that you will ask all applicants and specify which questions you will target for follow-up information. Provide specific rationale for asking each question and the kind of information you hope to gather with each question. Call this section Structured Interview.
Create a checklist of at least 10 questions that are illegal to ask the candidates, based upon both federal guidelines and the specific guidelines of your state.
In the first section of this paper, you discussed the federal and state guidelines governing lawful and unlawful selection criteria. In this section, discuss the questions you will not ask candidates, and tell why these questions are out of order. Call this section Illegal Questions.

Discuss and research a specific opera mentioned in the documentary, and discuss the opera with respect to one of these roles.

Discuss and research a specific opera mentioned in the documentary, and discuss the opera with respect to one of these roles. In what time and place did the opera originate (you must answer this first question)? Then discuss some or all of the following: What cultural, social, political, or philosophical factors were at play at the time? What role or purpose did this opera play in society of that day? For example: Did the opera function as social commentary? As propaganda? As a vehicle for communality or self-knowledge? What might have inspired the composer to write the opera? What facts about the artist’s or culture may have contributed to its creation? What, if anything, was its subtext (its underlying message or implied meaning)? What was the public’s response to the opera?
Keep these questions in mind as you do your research, and see what you come up with. Important: Although opera is obviously a form of entertainment, DO NOT choose “entertainment” as the role, or purpose.
Also important: If you choose an opera not discussed in the Goodall videos, you MUST verify your choice with me before you begin your paper.
Part 2
Answer the following: What art forms (visual, performing, literary) today serve the same (or similar) role (purpose, function) as opera has in the past? Explain your answer in detail, providing examples.
This is a formal paper. You must do the following:
Write a formal, thesis-driven, MLA-styled and -formatted research paper.
Meet the MINIMUM page count. Feel free to exceed it.
Use the EFSC library’s electronic databases to research your opera. Follow my guidelines for academic/scholarly source selection.
Include in-text citations and a works cited list. Cite from at least five scholarly/academic sources. One of them may be the Goodall documentary. See my page on source selection.
DO NOT QUOTE from sources. Paraphrase from, and cite, your sources.
DO NOT SUMMARIZE the opera.
Include your own thoughts, not merely the ideas of other authors.
Use college-level writing. Proofread for errors in spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, word choice, sentence structure, syntax, etc.
DO NOT plagiarize. Be sure to address your Turnitin report before the deadline.
Avoid oversimplification, generalizations, inaccuracies, misunderstandings, and logical fallacies.
Highlight your thesis statement in some way. Be sure your thesis statement answers the assignment question and provides structure for your paper.
Construct cohesive paragraphs, each with a strong topic sentence. Be sure that your structure follows from your thesis statement.
Do not ask questions or announce what you are about to do; just state your points.

How do sealants prevent decay?

In project groups or on your own, create a literature review that will provide background information for your table clinic project. Please upload one submission (per group) and review the attached instructions and grading rubric prior to submission. Please see the end of this page for examples.
A literature review is a descriptive summary of research on a topic that has previously been studied. The purpose of a literature review is to inform readers of the significant knowledge and ideas that have been established on an oral health prevention topic. Its purpose is to compare, contrast and/or connect findings that were identified when reviewing researchers’ work. Your literature review will provide resources and supporting evidence for the prevention topic you have selected for your table clinic.
Steps to complete your literature review:
Choose an oral health disease prevention topic that you are interested in studying (ex. include sealants, fluoride, trauma prevention, smokeless tobacco, HPV and oral cancer etc.)
Formulate an inquiry question that specifically describes what would like to know about your educational topic (ex. how to sealants prevent decay?, what are ways to treat dental trauma and tooth avulsion?)
Go to the library/PubMed online to search for and locate journals that include your topic’s information.
Find at least 5 educational, evidence-based journal articles (not Wikipedia or WebMD), and aim to select articles published within the last 10 years.
Select at least 5 journal articles and cite them on your reference page.
Read selected articles and begin to sort and classify them according to their findings.
Organize your articles by sorting and classifying their findings in a meaningful way, always considering your original topic and inquiry question.
Write your review write a 3-4 page literature review on the articles you’ve selected.
Outline for writing your literature review (please type up and submit via canvas)
Introduction
The introduction is used to establish the context of your review to the reader. To establish the context, it is important to do the following in this opening paragraph:
Define the topic of your study (ex. sealants, fluoride, preventing dental caries) and provide any background information that helps your reader to understand the topic.
Explain your reason (perspective) for reviewing the literature on this topic.
State your inquiry question for this review. (Ex. How does fluoride work to prevent dental caries?)
Body
This section of your paper begins with an explanation of how you have organized your literature review and describes findings from articles that provide answers to your inquiry question. Before you begin this section, be sure that you have sorted your articles into different themes based on the articles’ findings (sometimes called results). Write an introduction paragraph for the body of your review. This paragraph tells the reader specific information on how many articles you reviewed and how you sorted the articles into common themes based on the findings (results).
Summary
This is the last paragraph of your literature review. In this paragraph, it is important to summarize the main findings from the articles that you reviewed and to point out the information that you found particularly important to know that answered the inquiry question that you established in the first paragraph of your review. Try to conclude your paper by connecting your inquiry question back to the context of the general topic of study.
References
This is the last page of your review. It serves as a listing of all references that you mentioned in your paper. Please use APA style when completing this list.

Examples:
Literature Review Topic examples:
Example 1: For a topic related to diabetes and periodontal disease:
Introduce what is diabetes and periodontal disease.
How prevalent (common and chronic) are they? (How many people have these things?)
What are the risk factors? (those over 45, smokers etc.).
You would then find articles that demonstrate people who have diabetes have higher rates of periodontal disease, and also, that people with periodontal disease tend to be at higher risk for developing diabetes.
What are ways an oral health provider can provide prevention related to your topic? For example, explain to patients’ with diabetes that they are at a higher risk for developing periodontal disease and how to ensure proper home care.
Example 2: For a topic of Oral Cancer, things I want to know:
Risk Factors (smoking, alcohol, age, gender, oral sex if HPV)
Where does oral cancer occur most commonly? (tongue etc.)
What types of oral cancer are common? (Squamous cell carcinoma, HPV)
How many people get oral cancer? ( roughly 50,000 new cases per year, and how many deaths?)
How can you as a DH prevent this (education, biopsy new lesions after re-eval of 14 days)
Citations here could be from research papers on PubMed, as well as the CDC, and American Diabetes Association

Explain why research publication dates should be from September of 2014 to the current date.

Research 4-5 articles that discuss the financial reports from our course to help you gain more understanding of financial (1) balance sheets; (2) income statements; (3) cash flow statements; and (4) statements of shareholders’ equity. Note that research publication dates should be from September of 2014 to the current date.

Then, identify a healthcare facility (hospital, clinic, insurance company, outpatient etc.) and find their financial reports. This could be your place of work or an organization that you find online. You’ll be reviewing their financial statements to discuss the financial health of that organization!

Complete a SWOT analysis to determine if this would a good investment.

You have been asked by the CEO to join a senior team that has been created to explore the possibility of setting up the firm’s first wholly owned subsidiary outside the United States. The company has been exporting a limited number of products to the region for several years, but as demand has increased, he is considering the possibility of setting up some form of manufacturing operation to reduce manufacturing and distribution costs and get closer to the customer. Even though the CEO has engaged in talks with several economic development groups in the region, he has not yet decided which location would be the best place to enter the market to support the company’s long-term business strategy. The purpose of this project is to investigate the factors of the country so you can make a well-informed decision. You will then complete a SWOT analysis to determine if this would a good investment.
